Abstract: Frame assemblies for a head-mounted display may include a facial interface frame, a display support frame, and at least one extendible tab coupled to the facial interface frame and the display support frame. The at least one extendible tab may be movable between a retracted position at which a near-eye display supported by the display support frame is located a first distance from the facial interface frame and a second position at which the near-eye display is located at a second, greater distance from the facial interface frame. Various other methods, head-mounted displays, frames and frame elements, and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: A head-mounted display may include a frame for supporting an electronic display for viewing by an intended user donning the head-mounted display. The frame may include a flange disposed on a perimeter area of the frame and a facial interface configured to abut against an intended user's face wherein the facial interface comprises a foam body and an undercut region in the foam body that is sized and shaped for detachably engaging with the flange of the frame. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: An example portable charging case for smart glasses comprises a glasses-retention portion of the charging case. The glasses-retention portion defines an interior surface of the portable charging case, and the glasses-retention portion is configured to apply a resistance force to securely hold smart glasses along the interior surface. The portable charging case also includes a retention bracket that is coupled with the glasses-retention portion. The retention bracket is configured to apply a force to the nose pad of the smart glasses to hold the smart glasses in place to facilitate stable charging between electrical contacts of the charging case and other electrical contacts on the nose pad of the smart glasses.

Abstract: A head-mounted display (HMD) system may include a body having a right side and a left side, a display device coupled to the body and positioned to display content to a user when the HMD system is donned by the user, a right side arm coupled to the right side of the body and dimensioned such that, when coupled to a first portion of a swappable strap, the right side arm and the first portion of the strap form a first fastener, and a left side arm coupled to the left side of the body and dimensioned such that, when coupled to a second portion of the strap, the left side arm and the second portion of the strap form a second fastener. The first fastener and the second fastener may detachably secure the strap to the body of the HMD system. Various other methods and systems are also disclosed.
