Abstract:
A computing system and method updates firmware to a baseboard management controller (BMC) of a motherboard. The computing system updates firmware of the BMC according to the parameters, wherein the parameters includes a predetermined number of times to update the firmware of the BMC. The computing system counts a number of successful updates, in response to a determination that a current update of the firmware is successful. The computing system records information of each of the successful updates and generates a log file for storing the information, in response to a determination that counted number of the successful updates equal to the predetermined number of times.
Abstract:
An electronic device having retractable hanger includes a housing, a display panel, and a hanging mechanism. The display panel is mounted on the housing. The hanging mechanism is arranged in the housing. The hanging mechanism includes a base, a hanger, a movable member, and at least one resilient member. The base is secured in the housing. The hanger slides relative to the base and defines a hanging hole, a groove with corners, and protrusions by each corner. The movable member includes a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is rotatably connected to the base and the second end slides in the groove of the hanger.
Abstract:
A packing box includes four walls, a bottom support, a cover and plates. The walls, the bottom support and the cover cooperatively define a space for accommodating items to be packed therein. The bottom support is formed with the walls for supporting the items packed in the space. The cover is configured for closing the packing box. The plates are disposed in the space and are formed by folding a cardboard extension from one or more of the walls. The plates separate the space into compartments.
Abstract:
A method for detecting voltages of an electronic device determines a first number of events in a System Event Log (SEL) of the electronic device, acquires a first voltage of a specific component from the voltage sensor, and records a first time. After a first time interval has elapsed, a second number of the events is determined, and a second voltage of the specific component is acquired. An absolute value of a difference between the second and first voltage of the voltage sensor is calculated when the second number is equal to the first number. Abnormal information of the specific component is outputted when a time difference between the second and first time is less than a second time interval and a number of the absolute value is not less than a predetermined number.
Abstract:
An embedded multilayer printed circuit board includes first, second and third circuit substrates, and a flexible circuit substrate. The first circuit substrate includes a first base layer and a first electrically conductive layer. The second circuit substrate includes a second base layer and a second circuit layer. The second circuit substrate also defines a receiving hole. The third circuit substrate includes a third circuit layer, a third base layer, a fourth circuit layer, and an electronic element mounted on the third circuit layer. The third circuit layer and the fourth circuit layer are formed on the opposite sides of the third base layer. The electronic element is received in the receiving hole. The flexible circuit substrate includes a flexible base layer and a flexible circuit layer. The first circuit layer is electrically connected to the fourth circuit layer by the flexible circuit layer.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a main body, a stylus and a stylus fixing assembly fixed on the main body for seating the stylus. The stylus fixing assembly includes a cover, a fixing element fixed on the cover, a guide element, a rotation element, a clasping element rotatably fixed on the cover, a first spring and a second spring. The fixing element includes three guide grooves and a convex stage disposed on the inner wall therein. The guide element includes several first teeth and three first guide ribs. The rotation element includes a cylindrical portion, a resisting portion, several second teeth and three second guide ribs. Two ends of the first spring are fixed on the sidewall of the cover and the resisting portion separately. Two ends of the second spring are connected with the cover and the clasping element.
Abstract:
An electronic reader includes a cover, a middle frame and a paper clamping mechanism. The cover defines a hollow space and includes a bezel defining an opening. The middle frame is secured within the hollow space and includes a connection portion extending between two edges of the opening. The paper clamping mechanism is used for clamping paper on the electronic reader and includes a clamping member, a pivot, and an elastic element. The clamping member is received in the opening and defines a sliding groove. Two ends of the pivot extend through the sliding groove and are received in the bezel, which movably connects the clamping member to the cover. The elastic element is fixed on the bezel to apply a pushing force to the clamping member. Two ends of the clamping member resist the elastic element and the connection portion respectively.
Abstract:
A packaging structure includes a box and a shock absorbent member received in the box. The box includes fours sidewalls and a bottom wall. The shock absorbent member includes a main sheet, a plurality of side sheets, and at least an interleaving sheet connected with the main sheet. When the shock absorbent member is received inside the box, the main sheet is positioned diagonally above the bottom wall and the interleaving sheet is lain against two neighboring sidewalls of the box, thus at least one receiving room is formed between the box and the shock absorbent member.
