Copolymers including diallyldialkylammonium compounds of the formula:
WHEREIN R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, halogen substituted lower alkyl and phenyl and X is OH, a halogen or an inorganic or organic anion, alkenyl monomers, such as methyl vinyl ketone and halogen containing vinyl monomers, are useful in the preparation of anion permoselective membranes.
