Abstract: A display (110) providing a tactile display user interface is provided. A display sub-assembly (204) with lens (104) is mounted within an internal frame (218) having a base (214). A perimeter seal (208) is mounted between the lens (104) and the internal frame (218). Mechanical switches (210) are disposed between a back surface of the display and the base (214) of the internal frame (218). The display sub-assembly (204) and lens (104) is moveable relative to the internal frame (218) resulting in actuation of a single mechanical switch in response to the display being pressed. Sealing of the lens (104) to the internal frame (218) being maintained during switch actuation.

Abstract: An accessory connector (102) and connector system (100) are provided. The accessory connector (102) comprises and edge tongue portion at one end and a thumb screw recess at the opposite end with a floating header therebetween. The edge tongue portion enables pivotal engagement of the accessory connector to a device interface. The floating header (110) has a perimeter alignment wall (112) surrounding a plurality of pogo pins (114) recessed therein. The floating header is movable in planar directions within the accessory connector prior to attachment of the connector to the radio connector interface (154). The x-y moveability allows for fine alignment of the pogo pins to corresponding contacts and loading of the pogo pins to the contacts in a z-direction.

Abstract: A video recorder (100) is configured and assembled to provide improved ventilation for cooling and improved protection against liquid intrusion. The video recorder is formed of a main chassis housing, a top cover, and a bezel for coupling the top cover to the main chassis housing. Once assembled, channels are formed which provide paths for both liquid egress and airflow intake. The channels allow airflow into fan intake openings located within a top portion of the main chassis housing. The channels further provide for liquid to be diverted away from the fan intake openings.
