    Abstract: A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness includes a first connector having a first body component, a second body component, and an attachment element connected to each other by a rod having a longitudinal axis. The connection arrangement further includes a second connector removably connectable to the first connector. Each of the first body component, the second body component, and the attachment element are independently movable relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of the rod. The first connector and the second connector are removably connectable to each other via a locking and release mechanism between a first, locked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are connected to each other, and a second, unlocked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are disconnected from each other.

    Abstract: A load indicator for use with a fall protection apparatus having a line and a connector for connecting to a user includes a housing having a pass-through opening and a covered indicator region. At least a portion of the housing is configured for connecting to the line. The load indicator also includes a shear pin supported by the housing and extending across the pass-through opening, and a saddle extending across at least a portion of the pass-through opening and supported by at least a portion of the shear pin. The saddle is configured for connecting to at least a portion of the connector. The saddle is movable relative to the housing between a first position and a second position when a force exceeding a predetermined threshold value is applied on the saddle causing the shear pin to shear or break. At least a portion of the indicator region is uncovered in the second position of the saddle when the shear pin shears or breaks.

    Abstract: An alignment tool for use in connection with an open path gas detection system, which includes an interface including one or more connectors, includes an optical system having a scope and an attachment system operatively connected to the optical system. The attachment system includes a body including one or more cooperating connectors. The body is rotatable about an axis thereof in a first direction to bring the one or more cooperating connectors into connection with the one or more connectors. The attachment system further includes one or more locking elements which engage the one or more connectors after a predetermined amount of rotation of the body in the first direction to form a state of locked engagement. k release member is in rotatable connection with the body in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to cause the one or more locking elements to disengage from the one or more connectors of the interface so that the body can be rotated in the second direction to remove the attachment system from connection with the interface.
