The present invention provides an extruded flexible flat cable, which has a superior formability, flexibility, adhesiveness, and fire-retardancy, with a low manufacturing cost. The flexible flat cable of the present invention is adapted for sliding door of a motor vehicle and also other parts. The extruded flexible flat cable has a conductor covered with an insulation layer extrude-formed with an extrusion molding method. The insulation layer is formed from a fire-retardant resin composition containing a modified polybutylene terephthalate and a fire-retardant additive. The fire-retardant resin composition has a melting point of 170-215 degrees C. measured in reference to JIS K7121 with a differential thermal analysis at a rate of temperature increase of 10 degrees C. per minute.

Provided is a resin molded body which has excellent flame retardance, weather resistance, shock resistance and tracking resistance. The resin molded body is composed of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin, a polycarbonate, an elastomer, and a flame retardant. By adopting this combination of components, a Charpy impact value at 23° C. measured in conformity with ISO 179/1eA is 15 kJ/m2 or more and flame retardance measured under a condition of thickness of 1.0 mm and in conformity with UL94 is V-0 or more, and a resin molded body which can be used favorably outdoors is produced.

Provided is an injection-molded article with excellent external appearance, low warping, heat resistance, and durability to heating and cooling. An injection-molded article for which (1) deflection temperature under load according to ISO 75-1 is 165-220° C., (2) surface gloss at 45° by the JIS Z8741 testing method is 95-110, (3) the flatness of flat plates of 120 mm length, 120 mm width and 2 mm thickness with JIS B0021 is 0-2 mm, (4) after tensile property evaluation test pieces molded according to ISO 3167 were heat-treated for ten days in a 150° C. hot air oven and then treated for 24 hours at 23° C. and 50% RH, stretch at break measured according to ISO 524-1, 2 is 1.5% or more.

Thin-walled molded articles (i.e., molded articles where at least 70% of the wall thickness is 0.8 mm or less) are formed of a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) molding composition having improved fluidity characteristics and desirable mechanical strength properties. The PBT molding composition includes (A) 100 parts by weight of a polybutylene terephthalate base resin having a melt index of between 40 and 200 as measured at 235.degree. C. under a load of 2160 grams according to ASTM D-1238; (B) between 1 to 60 parts by weight of plate-like glass flakes having an average flake dimension of between 10 to 200 .mu.m; and (C) between 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a fatty acid metal salt.
