摘要: An array substrate comprises on an insulative substrate, a plurality of display areas to be portions of a plurality of display panels, in which, each display area is constituted with a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, and the pixels is constituted with pixel electrodes formed at intersection portions of plural scan wirings and plural signal wirings; a common wiring is formed outside each display area, for applying a reference voltage to the pixels; a plurality of external-connection terminals is formed outside each display area, to be connected with a driver circuit that drives; and comprises connection wirings located so as to intersect a cutting line along which the insulative substrate is to be cut, for connecting the external-connection terminals in one of the display panels on the insulative substrate with a common wiring in another one of the display panels adjacent to the external-connection terminals, wherein the connection wirings are formed in a conductive layer superior in corrosion resistance to the most inferior corrosion-resistance conductive layer among conductive layers constituting the array substrate.

摘要: An array substrate includes: a plurality of display areas, an outer area of the display area, in which a common wiring and an external connection terminal, which is connected to one of the scanning wiring, the signal wiring, and the common wiring, are provided; a connection wiring, which connects the external connection terminal with the common wiring of an adjacent display panel; and a connection part, which has a contact hole provided at the common wiring of the adjacent display panel, wherein the connection wiring is disposed across the cutting position of the insulation substrate and is connected to the contact hole at the connection part, and wherein the connection part is disposed at an area, at which a sealing member to bond an opposite substrate disposed to face the display area, or the inner side of the sealing member, which is the display area side.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device has pixel electrodes including a transmissive pixel electrode and a reflective pixel electrode. The liquid crystal display device includes a TFT array substrate, an opposing substrate, a sealing material that bonds both substrates, an organic film formed on the TFT array substrate and having a thick film portion provided below the pixel electrode and a thin film portion provided outside the thick film portion, a columnar spacer formed on the opposing substrate and holding substrate gap between the both substrates, and a gap retaining pad formed in a region outside the display region and inside the sealing material to adjust the substrate gap outside the display region according to the substrate gap on the pixel electrode. The columnar spacer holds the substrate gap between both substrates over the gap retaining pad and over the pixel electrode.

摘要: There is provided a liquid crystal display device having a pixel electrode including a transmissive pixel electrode and a reflective pixel electrode. The liquid crystal display device includes a TFT array substrate, an opposing substrate, a sealing material that bonds the both substrates, an organic film formed on the TFT array substrate and having a thick film portion provided below the pixel electrode and a thin film portion provided outside the thick film portion, a columnar spacer formed on the opposing substrate and holding substrate gap between the both substrates, and a gap retaining pad formed in a region outside the display region and inside the sealing material to adjust the substrate gap outside the display region according to the substrate gap on the pixel electrode. The columnar spacer holds the substrate gap between the both substrates over the gap retaining pad and over the pixel electrode.
