    摘要： A method for automatically generating a custom image product by a service provider for a customer having at least one image captured on image bearing medium by the customer and associated related content provided by the service provider. The associated related content relates to an event or to a venue where the at least one image was captured. The method includes the steps of providing a form that includes information that is be used for identifying the associated related content; associating the form with respect to an image bearing medium product having at least one exposed image; forwarding the form and associated image bearing medium to the service provider, the service provider using the information from the form to obtain the related content in digital form and associating the related content in digital form with respect to at least one digital image obtained from the at least one image; and the service provider providing the image product which incorporates the at least one image from the image bearing medium and the related content.

The data sets each include data in a plurality of the categories: capture related data, intrinsic image data, image usage data, and user reaction data. A plurality of the data sets have missing data in different combinations of the categories. A value index of each of the image records is generated from the respective data set. The image records are managed responsive to respective value indexes.

    摘要： An image processing system (10) obtains image sequences and assembles a presentation therefrom. The system has a camera (12) for capturing image sequences, a random-access electronic memory (16) for temporary storage of the image sequences, an input reader for accepting pre-programmed instructions from a first storage medium, a control panel with a display (18) for viewing image sequences (64) and presenting pre-programmed instructions to the operator and an operator interface for accepting responses to the pre-programmed instructions. A control logic processor (20) executes pre-programmed instructions and arranges the presentation from the captured image sequences stored in random-access electronic memory (16), according to operator responses. An output writer records the presentation onto a storage medium.

The device includes a display panel having a front side and a back side, said display panel capable of being placed in a first display state which allows displaying of an image on said front side for viewing of an image and a second transmissive state wherein said display panel becomes substantially transmissive so as to allow capture of an image of an object positioned in front of said front side of said display panel. An image capture device is provided for capturing said objective image through said display panel when said display device is in the second transmissive state. An image supply source is provided for providing an image to said display panel when said display panel is in said first display state and a mechanism for alternating placing said display panel between said first display state and second transmissive state such that an image can be viewed on said display screen and said object can be captured in a manner such that said alternating between said first display state and said second transmissive state is substantially imperceptible to a user of said display panel.
