摘要： An air compressor assembly includes a compressor configured to provide a source of compressed air and a manifold assembly removably coupled to the compressor and configured to distribute the compressed air to one or more pneumatic tools. The manifold assembly is configured to be coupled to the compressor via an air conduit when the manifold assembly is detached from the compressor so that the manifold assembly is operable at a location remote from the compressor.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a suitcase style air compressor assembly having an extensible handle bar assembly, a wheel assembly, and a integral storage container. When the extensible handle bar assembly is fully extended, the suitcase style air compressor assembly may be transported by utilizing the extensible handle bar assembly and the wheel assembly. When the suitcase style air compressor assembly reaches a worksite, the extensible handle bar assembly may be retracted so that the suitcase style air compressor assembly does not occupy a large space. The air compressor includes a storage container for storing air hoses, power cords, tools, and the like.

In an exemplary aspect of the present invention, an air compressor may include an air tank for containing air at an elevated pressure, and a shroud for enclosing the air tank. The shroud may include a ribbing and a plurality of support members. The ribbing and the plurality of support members may be in contact with the air tank to assist in holding the air tank inside the shroud.
