    摘要: A hierarchical structure for accelerating ray tracing operations in scene rendering includes a plurality of geometry objects, and a single acceleration structure constructed over the collective plurality of geometry objects. Each geometry object includes primitives of a predefined type, whereby primitives within the plurality of geometry objects collectively define a geometry included within a region of the scene which is to be rendered. The single acceleration structure is operable for accelerating ray tracing operations for the primitives included within the plurality of geometry objects, and is constructed over the plurality of the geometry objects without an intervening bounding volume representation of the plurality of primitives included within the geometry objects.

    摘要: The invention relates to an electric connecting device, especially for arrangement between a steering wheel and a steering column switch module of a motor vehicle, comprising a stationary housing part and a rotationable housing part which respectively include a connecting unit and enclose at least one spiral-shaped wound-up, flexible electric conductor whose respective end is connected to the connecting unit and which is guided in a reverse-direction loop inside the housing. The conductor is associated with a forced guidance element in a positive fit, engaging the peripheral side of the conductor and resulting in a defined winding or unwinding of the conductor during a rotational movement of the rotationable housing part. The forced guidance element comprises a toothing that engages into the respective recesses in the conductor and may be assigned to the rotatable housing part, the stationary housing part, or both.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for extracting a die (4) from a hollow object (11) having several grooves (16, 17) arranged opposite one another on the surface of the inner sheath whereby the longitudinal axes thereof extend crosswise relative to the corresponding longitudinal central planes (i.e. cross-grooves), whereby said die (4) is part of a tool (10) having a matrix (1) for forming the hollow object (11) and several other die segments (9a, 9b) arranged opposite one another relative to the central axis (2) thereof. Each of said die segments has an outer ridge (21a, 21b); in order to form the hollow object, said die segments (9a, 9b) are expanded into a working position, whereby the ridges (21a, 21b) are fitted into corresponding grooves (16, 17), and extracted after the hollow object (11) has been formed. In order to facilitate extraction, all die segments (9a, 9b) are extracted by contraction movements (9d) perpendicular to the central axis (2) and a relative axial movement (9c) between the die segments (9a, 9b).
