摘要: An axial gap rotating electrical machine is provided with permanent magnets and cores in a rotor. The permanent magnets are oriented such that magnetization surfaces face in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The cores are arranged alternately with the permanent magnets in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The amount of magnetic flux on the outside in the radial direction of the rotor is made greater than the amount of magnetic flux on the inside in the radial direction of the rotor. As a result, the magnetic flux density at the rotor cores can be made substantially constant in the radial direction of the rotor and torque output with respect to the size of the permanent magnets is improved by preventing magnetic saturation of the cores.

摘要: An axial gap electric rotary machine includes a rotor and a stator which face each other with an axial gap therebetween. The rotor includes permanent magnets which are arranged with their magnetic poles spaced around the circumference of the rotor, with the magnetic poles of adjacent permanent magnets being opposite each other. The permanent magnets and rotor cores are alternately arranged around the circumference of the rotor. Consequently, north poles and south poles are alternately formed at a surface of the rotor facing the stator, and reluctance of a magnetic path which passes through a permanent magnet is larger than reluctance of a magnetic path which does not pass through the permanent magnet, whereby the functions of a reluctance type rotary machine and a permanent magnet synchronous machine are combined in a compact structure.

摘要: An axial gap electric rotary machine includes a rotor and a stator that face each other across an axial gap. The rotor is provided with salient poles and permanent magnets that are positioned separately around the circumference of the rotor. Accordingly, north poles and south poles are alternately formed on a surface of the rotor that faces the stator. The magnetic resistance of a magnetic path that passes through the permanent magnets is larger than the magnetic resistance of a magnetic path that does not pass through the permanent magnets. Accordingly, the axial gap electric rotary machine is able to function as a reluctance motor and as a permanent magnet synchronous motor using a single set of facing surfaces of the rotor and the stator, respectively.

摘要: A camber angle applying device is controlled to adjust the camber angle of wheels to a predetermined value. Therefore, the characteristics (or a high gripping property) of a high gripping force and the characteristic (or a low rolling resistance) of a small rolling resistance can be separately used as the performance of the wheels. By utilizing the high gripping property of the wheels, therefore, a vehicle is enabled to reduce its energy consumption, while retaining its running characteristics (such as a turning performance, an accelerating performance or a braking performance), by utilizing the rolling resistance of the wheels. Moreover, the camber angle applying device is controlled to reduce the rolling resistance of the wheels, so that the energy loss to occur in the wheels during running can be reduced to further reduce the energy consumption of the vehicle.

摘要: A harmless sterilization method and sterilization apparatus which provide adequate sterilization effects without residual gas. The method includes a sterilization step in which a chamber containing an object to be sterilized is depressurized; a hydrogen peroxide supply step in which hydrogen peroxide is supplied into the chamber; an ozone supply step in which ozone is supplied into the chamber; a sterilization step in which the hydrogen peroxide and ozone supplied inside the chamber are dispersed to sterilize the object to be sterilized; an exhaust step in which gas inside the chamber is exhausted; and a plasma generation step in which plasma is generated inside the chamber to break down hydrogen peroxide and ozone remaining near the object to be sterilized, and radicals which promote sterilization are generated.

摘要: A flat panel image display unit such as a plasma display device is provided having a structure of signal input terminals that is adaptable flexibly to a plurality of different kinds of video signals. The image display unit includes a flat display panel, a display drive circuit block, an input signal circuit block connected between the display drive circuit block and an external apparatus for outputting a video signal, and an enclosure for housing the above components. The input signal circuit block includes a plurality of different kinds of board blocks provided replaceably according to a plurality of different forms of signals. A casing member is placed inside the enclosure and is provided with an insertion opening for accepting insertion of any of the board blocks. A guide rail is for positioning the board block to a predetermined position. The plurality of guide rails are provided according to the board block of a smallest unit size.
