    摘要： A paper document processing apparatus includes: a document image acceptance unit that accepts an image acquired; a document image recording unit that records a document image in a storage; an attribute information acquisition unit that acquires attribute information based on the document image; an acquisition result evaluation unit that evaluates whether an acquisition result of the acquired attribute information is affirmative or negative; a medium output unit that outputs information indicating a scan status of the paper document that is formed on a medium while specifying the document image for which the acquisition result of attribute information is evaluated negative; a medium acceptance unit that accepts the information formed on the medium; and an attribute information reacquisition unit that reacquires the attribute information of the document image by specifying the document image in accordance with the accepted information.

    摘要： A translating device has: an input unit that inputs a document; a unit that specifies a target language; a unit that translates the inputted document into the translated document written in the target language; a memory that stores a set of condition data and advertisement data assigned to the condition data, or a set of a keyword and advertisement data assigned to the keyword; a unit that selects advertisement data from the memory, the advertisement data being assigned either to condition data or a keyword; a unit that determines an insertion location at which to insert the advertisement data selected by the data selection unit into the translated document, by taking into account a layout of the translated document; a unit that generates an output image of the translated document by inserting the advertisement data at the insertion location; and a unit that outputs the output image.

    摘要： An image reading apparatus has a scan quality parameter extraction part, a scan quality evaluation part and a notification part. The scan quality parameter extraction part extracts scan quality parameters representing the quality of a scanned image from image data based on a scan error detection algorithm. The scan quality evaluation part determines whether a scan error occurs, based on the scan error detection algorithm and the scan quality parameters. Also, the notification part notifies a result determined by the scan quality evaluation part to a user.
