摘要: The present invention relates to a method for production of a diol form represented by the formula (2), which includes filtering a culture fluid obtained by microbial conversion using a compound represented by the following formula (1a) and/or formula (1b) as a substrate, using a filter having an aperture size of 10 to 100 μm; washing the residue on the filter with water or a solvent having an SP value outside the range of 8.3 to 20 (cal/cm3)1/2; subsequently dissolving the obtained cake in a solvent having an SP value of 8.3 to 20 (cal/cm3)1/2; and then filtering or centrifuging the solution.According to the present invention, 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyldecahydronaphthalen-2-ol, which is useful as an intermediate for the production of 3a,6,6,9a-tetramethyldodecahydronaphtho[2,1-b]furan, can be efficiently produced at high purity.

A process for producing 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyldecahydronaphthalen-2-ol represented by formula (2): the process containing drying a culture fluid obtained by microbial conversion using a compound(s) represented by formula (1a) and/or (1b) as a substrate, bringing the dried product of the culture fluid into contact with such a solvent that the SP value of the medium obtainable after the contact between the dried product of the culture fluid and the solvent falls in the range of 9.5 to 16 [(cal/cm3)1/2], subsequently removing the microorganism from the medium, and crystallizing the medium.

摘要: A syringe includes a syringe outer tube having a spout and a spout-mounted cap. The cap has a cap main body sealing the spout in a liquid-tight manner, a mounting section mounted onto the spout, and a breakable breaking section linking the cap main body and the mounting section to release the link upon breaking. The inner circumferential portion of the mounting section includes protrusions inserted into a groove on the outer circumferential portion of the spout which also has a tilted section tilted relative to the axis of the spout outer circumferential portion. When the cap is rotated along the axial direction of the syringe outer tube, the protrusions move along the tilted section of the groove. The mounting section is thus displaced in the base end direction and the braking section is pulled in the direction and breaks to separate the cap main body from the mounting section.

摘要: A syringe with which an accurate amount of a liquid can be discharged by a simple operation. The syringe 1 includes an outer tube 2, a gasket 3 slidable in the outer tube 2, a pusher 4 operable for moving the gasket 3, and a stopper 5 disposed to be slidable along the longitudinal direction of the pusher 4. The stopper 5 is fixed relative to the pusher 4 by the engagement of engaging portions, provided therein, with racks 47a, 47b formed on the pusher 4. When an operating portion 71 is depressed, the fixation condition is released, permitting regulation of the position of the stopper 5 on the pusher 4. When the depression on the operating portion 71 is canceled, the fixation condition is retained. When the pusher 4 is pressed in the tip end direction, a tip end face 66 of the stopper 5 comes into contact with a base end portion 28 of the outer tube 2, whereby the depth of insertion of the pusher 4 into the outer tube 2 is restricted, and a set amount of a chemical 100 is discharged through a diameter-reduced portion 22.
