摘要： A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is described comprising a support having thereon a photographic layer containing at least one coupler represented by formula (I) or (II) ##STR1## wherein Ar represents a phenyl group substituted with at least one substituent selected from a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group and a cyano group; X represents a halogen atom or an alkoxy group; R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an acylamino group, a sulfonamido group, a sulfamoyl group, a carbamoyl group, a diacylamino group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an alkoxysulfonyl group, an aryloxysulfonyl group, an alkanesulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an alkyloxycarbonylamino group, an alkylureido group, an acyl group, a nitro group, a carboxy group, or a trifluoromethyl group; R.sub.2 represents a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryl group; R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryl group; at least one of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represents an alkoxy group; m.sub.1 and m.sub.2 each represents an integer from 1 to 4; R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryl group; n represents an integer from 1 to 6; and when m.sub.1, m.sub.2 and n each is 2 or more, each R.sub.1, R.sub.3 and R.sub.5 may be the same or different.The color photographic light-sensitive material containing a 2-equivalent magenta color image-forming coupler as described above has various advantages, for example, in that the dye formation efficiency in the color development step is high, the photographic properties are not influenced by variations in the pH of the color development bath, and the color images formed are fast to heat or light.

摘要： There is provided a silver halide color photographic material containing a 6-hydroxychroman derivative in, combination with a specific coupler, i.e., a 5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler having an --SR group at the coupling position or a 5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler having an anilino group at the 3-position. The photosensitive material provides photographic images, quality of which is prevented from deteriorating as time passes. The photographic color images are free from discoloration or fading and do not form yellow stains on a white background.
