    摘要: An image processing apparatus includes an image acquiring unit that acquires an image; an information acquiring unit that acquires image information indicative of a content of the image; and a correcting unit that corrects the image based on the image information such that some of warping of the image is left. The horizontal direction component of the warping may be completely or nearly completely eliminated while a predetermined portion of a vertical direction component of the warping is left, when the image information indicates the content of the image is a person. Alternatively, there is an analyzer which generates the image information indicating that the content of the image is a erson when the analyzing determines that the image contains two or more persons.

    摘要: A reading control unit obtains image data pertaining to a printed material, in which information is embedded by printing multiple types of patterns in a matrix. A line-segment-sequence calculating unit calculates multiple substantially-vertical-line-segment sequences, each obtained by connecting substantially-vertically arranged patterns in the image data with a polygonal line, and calculates multiple substantially-horizontal-line-segment sequences, each obtained by connecting substantially-horizontally arranged patterns in the image data with a polygonal line. A search unit searches for a substantially-vertical lane segment and a substantially-horizontal line segment intersecting with each other for each combination of one of the substantially-vertical-line-segment sequences and one of the substantially-horizontal-line-segment sequences. An intersection-point calculating unit calculates an intersection point between the thus-found substantially-vertical line segment and the substantially-horizontal line segment as a position of a pattern. An extracting unit extracts the information embedded in the printed material by identifying types of patterns at calculated positions.
