摘要: A displacement control mechanism for a variable displacement compressor includes a first valve hole, a first valve body, a pressure sensing means operable to sense pressures of first and second points in a discharge pressure region to adjust a position of the first valve body, and a pressure-difference-increasing means operable to increase pressure difference between the first and second points when the pressure of a suction pressure region falls below a predetermined standard pressure. The pressure sensing means displaces the first valve body to increase an opening degree of the first valve hole according to increase of the pressure difference when the first valve hole is part of a supply passage. The pressure sensing means displaces the first valve body to decrease the opening degree of the first valve hole according to the increase of the pressure difference when the first valve hole is part of a bleed passage.

摘要: A control valve used in a variable displacement compressor includes a valve chamber, a valve body and a pressure sensing chamber. A pressure sensing ball is movably located in the pressure sensing chamber and divides the pressure sensing chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. First and second pressure monitoring points are located in a refrigerant circuit. The first pressure chamber is exposed to the pressure at the first pressure monitoring point. The second pressure chamber is exposed to the pressure at the second pressure monitoring point. The ball is displaced based on the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber. The position of the valve body is determined based on the position of the pressure sensing member.

摘要: A displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor includes a first valve hole forming a part of a supply passage and a second valve hole forming a part of a discharge passage. Displacement of a reciprocating body is transmitted to each of first and second valve bodies so that each valve body opens or closes the corresponding valve hole. When the reciprocating body is within a predetermined displacement range, a double closing state occurs, in which the first valve body closes the first valve hole and the second valve hole closes the second valve hole. When the reciprocating body is out of the displacement range, a single closing state occurs. Therefore, the control valve prevents the first valve hole from opening concurrently with the second valve hole.

摘要: A displacement control mechanism used in a variable displacement compressor for controlling a displacement of the compressor includes a first control valve located on a supply passage and a second control valve located on a first bleed passage. The second control valve includes a backpressure chamber having substantially the same pressure atmosphere as a region of the supply passage downstream of the first control valve and a spool including a back surface that is located in the backpressure chamber. The spool reduces an opening degree of the first bleed passage when a pressure in the backpressure chamber is increased. The spool blocks a communication between the backpressure chamber and the first bleed passage via a clearance formed around a cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the spool in the second control valve when the spool sets the first bleed passage at a minimum opening degree.

摘要: A displacement control valve includes an electromagnetic solenoid and a drive force transmitting body. A pressure sensing chamber communicates with a suction chamber and a pressure sensing body is located in the pressure sensing chamber. An internal passage is provided in the transmitting body and an external passage is provided about the transmitting body. The first to third valve bodies are provided at the transmitting body. The first valve body adjusts a cross-sectional area of a passage between the external passage and the internal passage. The second valve body adjusts a cross-sectional area of a passage between the internal passage and the pressure sensing chamber. The third valve body adjusts a cross-sectional area of a passage between the external passage and a discharge chamber. The transmitting body is switched among first, second, and third arrangement states by the electromagnetic solenoid. With the transmitting body at the first arrangement state, the third valve body is at an open position when the first valve body is at a closed position. With the transmitting body at the second arrangement state, the first valve body is at an open position when the third valve body is at a closed position. With the transmitting body at the third arrangement state, both of the first and third valve bodies are at the open position.

摘要: A torque limiting mechanism for transmitting power from an external drive source to the drive shat of a compressor. A pulley, which is coupled to the external drive source, has elastic members. A hub, which is attached to the drive shaft, has engaging portions. A coupler member is located between the pulley and the hub. The coupler member is engaged with the elastic members and with the engaging portions such that power is transmitted from the pulley to the hub. The urging members urge the coupler member such that the coupler member is disengaged from the engaging portions. When power is transmitted from the pulley to the hub, the elastic members maintain the coupler engaged with the elastic members and the engaging portions. When load generated due to power transmission exceeds a predetermined level, the elastic members are deformed such that the coupler member is disengaged from the elastic members. When disengaged from the elastic members, the coupler member is disengaged from the engaging portions.

摘要: A displacing device is incorporated in a displacement control valve. The displacing device includes a first pressure chamber, a second pressure chamber, a second bellows, a transmission rod, and an urging spring. The second pressure chamber communicates with a suction chamber. The interior of the second pressure chamber is a suction pressure zone. When the pressure in the suction pressure zone is less than or equal to a predetermined reference pressure, the transmission rod moves an actuation rod (valve body) to open a valve hole. Therefore, a variable displacement compressor is prevented from operating with a large displacement when there is insufficient amount of refrigerant or when the speed of the compressor is high.
