    摘要: An air intake device for a motor vehicle with a riding saddle, having an engine, an air cleaner disposed behind the engine, a tube defining at least a portion of an air intake passage from the air cleaner to the engine, and an exhaust passage extending rearwardly from the engine alongside of the air cleaner. The tube has an end connected to a side of the air cleaner remote from an opposite side thereof along which the exhaust passage extends.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a reserve tank for a radiator to be mounted on a water-cooled, three- or four-wheeled buggy, which can store therein the given maximum amount of cooling water, even when said buggy is upright erected with the front portion of its body upwards, wherein the reserve tank includes a storing body provided in its upper portion with a water supply inlet at a position closer to the front portion of a buggy body, and a capacity for storing at least the given maximum amount of cooling water is assured within the rear portion of said storing body, further, the storing body includes a side wall having a member recessed to receive a seat rail stay, a front wall having an insertion piece to be fixedly inserted on a hook secured to the seat rail stay, and a rear wall having a bracket to be secured to the seat rail stay.

    摘要: A radiator is laterally mounted between a pair of right and left frames arranged parallel to each other. The radiator has an upper tank and a lower tank and is mounted onto the frames by means of pins and brackets, the pins going through orifices in the brackets. No particular fitting work is required. The number of the fastening elements for mounting the radiator is reduced and the assembly may be carried out more easily because the radiator may be mounted from the outside of the frames. Further, there are provided two upper and bottom discontinuous spaces formed by a shroud which surrounds the outside of the radiator, and heat generated when the engine is idle, may be dissipated.

    摘要: An air intake noise suppressor for reducing noise generated by intake air sucked into an internal combustion engine. An intake pipe is provided with a resonance pipe, which extends forwards within the intake pipe as penetrating through a rear end wall of the intake pipe, communicates with the interior of the intake pipe through an opening at its front end, extends backwards from the rear end wall externally of the intake pipe and has its rear end closed, and the resonance pipe is fixedly locked to the intake pipe at its portion penetrating through the rear end wall and in the proximity of the opening at the front end. Since the resonance pipe is accommodated within the intake pipe over a considerable length and only its rear end portion projects backwards from the intake pipe, a surplus space is almost not necessitated for mounting the resonance pipe, and yet the resonance pipe itself can be made sufficiently long. The resonance pipe is supported simply and rigidly at its front end portion and at its middle portion by the intake pipe, and other support members are not necessitated.
