    摘要: A composite resonator, such as for use in a vehicle air intake system, includes a fiber reinforced contacting a semi-crystalline polymer substrate. The fiber reinforced composite includes a plurality of fibers in a polymer matrix. The composite resonator further includes a particle coating contacting the fiber reinforced composite. The particle coating includes a plurality of particles deposited onto the fiber reinforced composite. In a vehicle air intake system, the composite resonator is connected to the air intake pathway. The vehicle air intake system also includes a turbocharger compressor connected to the air intake pathway.

    摘要: In an intake manifold, a downstream end of an intake introduction pipe has an intake chamber connected thereto, and a resonator is provided adjacent to a bent section of the intake introduction pipe. A resonance chamber of this resonator communicates with the intake chamber via a path-for-resonance. A bottom section of the resonance chamber representing a downward side in a gravity direction inclines downwardly toward a center in a width direction, and a communicating path is formed to communicate with the bent section of the intake introduction pipe. Condensed water accumulated in the resonator flows to the intake introduction pipe through the communicating path from the bottom section, and flows into a projection projecting downwardly from the bent section. Subsequently, the condensed water is discharged to an internal combustion engine side through a gas introduction pipe by which a blow-by gas is introduced.

    摘要: A fresh air system for an internal combustion engine may include an inlet section, an air filter and a connecting section fluidly connecting the inlet section to the air filter. The air filter may include a filter element arranged in a filter housing, and a housing cover closing the filter housing and configured to be removable from the filter housing to change the filter element. The connecting section may be movably connected to the inlet section on an inlet side and detachably connected to the housing cover on an outlet side. To change the filter element when the inlet section is connected to the connecting section, the connecting section may be detachable from the housing cover and adjustable relative to the filter housing to such an extent that the housing cover can be removed from the filter housing.

    摘要: An intake noise reduction device includes an air cleaner, an intake funnel and a resonator, and is connected to an engine via a throttle body. The resonator is provided inside of the air cleaner. The resonator includes a chamber portion and a pipe portion. The pipe portion is formed to extend downward from the chamber portion, and has an opening end at a lower end. The intake funnel is provided at a lower end of the air cleaner. An opening end of the resonator is inserted into the intake funnel. A cross sectional area of an intake passage between the intake funnel and the pipe portion is set to not less than an opening area of an intake passage of the throttle body opened to a maximum throttle opening.
