摘要: In a data writing and/or reading device in which data is written and/or read out from a rotating recording medium, a head carriage upon which one or more heads are mounted is guided by first and second guide rods to move in a predetermined direction with respect to the recording medium. A member for biasing the head carriage in the direction opposite the direction of a rotating force produced by the friction between the head or heads and the recording medium is provided. This force in the direction of rotation of the recording medium is counteracted so that deviation of the head in the direction of rotation of the recording medium is eliminated.

摘要: In a signal recording and/or reproducing device having a chassis, a read/write head assembly includes a read/write head for sliding in contact with a surface of a moving flexible recording medium and for reading information from and writing information onto the surface of the moving flexible recording medium, and a head supporting plate for elastically supporting the read/write head. The head supporting plate includes a first supporting frame for mounting the read/write head, a second supporting frame elastically connected to the first supporting frame by a first pair of tie bar portions, and a third supporting frame for fixing the head supporting plate to the chassis of the recording and/or reproducing device. The third supporting frame is elastically connected to the second supporting frame by a second pair of tie bar portions. Connecting points between the first pair of tie bar portions and the first supporting frame mounting the read/write head are disposed nearer a trailing side of the read/write head with respect to a direction of movement of the recording medium than connecting points between the first pair of tie bar portions and the second supporting frame.

摘要: A moving web is folded at predetermined lengths at its opposite side portions so that the opposite side portions are opposed to each other at a predetermined angle with its central portion. Then part of each of the opposite folded portions is outwardly folded. These foldings occur so that a first folding line and a second folding line being opposed to each other at each side of the web include portions in non-parallel relationship. Elastic bands are affixed onto the web along the second opposite folded portions longitudinally and substantially in parallel to each other. When the web is flattened from the folded condition, the paired elastic band affixed onto the web at its oppsite sides each has a diagonal orientation symmetrically with respect to the direction in which the web moves.

摘要: Here is disclosed a method for efficiently attaching elastic members around leg-holes of a garment such as a disposable diaper or the like without any futile use of material.Elastic members 04A, 04B are fed and bonded onto a web so that the respective elastic members described curves like sine curves with summits and troughs of these curves defining together respective annular elastic areas 16 and thereby a base web is formed. Then the base web is severed into strips 17' bearing thereon the individual annular elastic areas and these strips 17' are intermittently bonded to a web 07 to form a composite web 19. A separate web is bonded onto a top surface of the composite web 19 to form a composite web 20. Finally, the composite web 20 is severed along center lines of the respective annular elastic areas 16 into individual garments.

摘要: The present invention generally resides in method and apparatus for intermittently applying pieces of elastic band severed into a predetermined length onto a moving continuous web at predetermined positions. The apparatus comprising elastic band transfer means including a plurality of independently rotatable rotor elements coaxially supported in rotatable fashion and carrying on respective arc-shaped outer surfaces suction members wherein the respective rotor elements carrying the respective suction members are adapted to be rotated along common circumferential path and the respective rotor elements are coupled to a drive wheel eccentrically located relative to a rotational center of the respective rotor elements and adapted to be rotated at a constant speed by a rotatable slider crank mechanism; suction distributor means for the respective suction members, adapted to operate synchronously with rotation of the drive wheel; means to feed continuous elastic band tangentially to the circumferential path of the respective suction members; means intermittently cooperating with one of the respective suction members periodically advanced by the elastic band transfer means to a predetermined position to sever the continuous elastic band; and web feeding means located in opposition to an end position of transport of the severed piece of elastic band along the circumferential path so that the piece of elastic band may be effectively transferred onto the web. This apparatus may further comprise means by which at least one ends of the respective suction members are pivotally supported by the respective rotor elements in laterally displaceable fashion so that the one ends are laterally displaced as the respective rotor elements rotate.
