摘要： Provided is a technology related to digital broadcast that effectively uses metadata.A content receiving device for receiving broadcast waves includes: a receiving unit which receives the broadcast waves; an input unit which inputs a user input; a recording unit which records content included in the broadcast waves on a recording medium; and a control unit, and in the content receiving device, character facial data to be information enabling identification of faces of characters of the content is included in the broadcast waves, and the control unit generates searching facial data to be information enabling identification of faces of persons, on the basis of information input to the input unit, and controls recording of the content on the recording medium, on the basis of the searching facial data and the character facial data.
