Abstract:
A device (10) for orienting tubular cores made of card for supporting rolls of toilet or kitchen paper includes elements for imparting an angular movement to each long item (11) in such a way that it is fed out of the device at a suitable angle. The elements for the angular orientation of the item (11) are designed to cause the item to be fed forward while keeping it substantially-transversal to the direction of feed and include first mobile members (12) for feeding a corresponding portion of the item (11) and extending along a respective path, which has a curved section (12a) , and second mobile members (14) for feeding a second portion of the item (11) and extending along a respective path having a curved section (14a) which is concentric with and radially inside the curved section (12a) of the first mobile feed members (12).
Abstract:
An apparatus (010) for packing a group of items, in which the items are preferably packs containing respective products, in a special wrapper formed by a plastic film includes elements for supplying groups of items, elements for feeding a wrapping film, and elements for wrapping the group of items in the wrapper. The wrapping elements include members for forming a tubular film (019) for wrapping the group of items, starting with a film being fed and members for inserting a plurality of items in the tunnel forming the tubular film (019) forming members.
Abstract:
A conveyor for transporting products includes a mounting frame for one or more product feed lanes, each lane being defined by a respective conveyor belt which extends along a respective path, and by element for centring the products on the conveyor belt and including respective first and second lateral guides which are spaced from each other transversely to the direction of extension of the conveyor belt in order to define a track having a respective width. A unit for adjusting the distance between the guides are provided which includes a first transversal support and movement member for the corresponding lateral guide of the lane, and a second transversal support and movement member for the other lateral guide of the lane. Also provided is a respective transversal member for supporting the first and second support and movement members and a defining unit for fastening to the conveyor frame.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is disclosed for aligning rolls in a feed system. The rolls are spaced at regular intervals so as to enable incorrectly positioned rolls to be turned to the correct feed position, when necessary, while they are moving forward in a feed direction. The correct position of each roll is identified by detecting the longitudinal hole through the center of the roll.

Abstract:
A method for defining the operation of a plant for producing, conveying and packaging articles. The articles include rolls, such as rolls of paper material and the like. The plant includes the following operative sections: at least an apparatus for forming articles positioned upstream, at least a machine for packaging the articles in respective packs positioned downstream, and an apparatus for conveying the articles which is able to transfer the articles between the forming apparatus and the packaging apparatus. The method and the plant provide that, through a central control unit of the plant, starting from predefined setting data, operating parameters of the sections of the plant are determined.

Abstract:
Apparatus and method for conveying items (P), comprising a line for transporting said items (P) from a machine (12) for working said items situated upstream, which advances and transfers to the line (15) said items (P) at a predetermined speed (V0), to a utilization situated downstream. At least in the initial part (15′) of said conveying line downstream of said working machine (12), the speed of advance (V1) of said items is maintained substantially equal to the speed of advance and transfer (V0) of said working machine situated upstream (12). It is further provided that, in order to carry longitudinally said items from said upstream machine to said downstream machine, said items are advanced in longitudinal groups or trains of items, such that, in each group or train of items, said items are longitudinally approached to each other.
