    摘要: A demultiplexing and decoding apparatus for coded audio and video data realized with a simple circuit construction and reduced processing load, which processes a packet with higher priority over other packets, prior to the other packets. A plurality of TS packet buffers 73 and 74, for storing input TS packets until they are interpreted, are set in a RAM 7, and processing priority orders are respectively set in the buffers. A PID filter 31 demultiplexes a TS packet, with a PID designated in PID table 36, from a supplied transport stream. A TS packet with higher priority is stored into the TS packet buffer 73, while a TS packet with lower priority is stored into the TS packet buffer 74. Regardless of the input order, the TS packet stored in the TS packet buffer 73 is processed by the CPU 6 prior to the TS packet stored in the TS packet buffer 74.

    摘要: The present invention makes possible recording motion pictures accurately starting at a point where a start recording event is received. The recording includes those pictures prior to the start recording event using a picture compressing method that compresses pictures both before and after the starting event, typically using the MPEG2 compression system. To make the above recording method possible, the present invention provides a signal processor and a photographic device that can search a motion vector for changing the object searching range properly, set an compression amount allocation for each picture type, and allow optimized parameters to be set when a start recording event is generated. The pictures processed before the start recording event is generated are stored in a memory buffer and on a recording medium so as to be used for recording or reproduction data entered after the recording starting time.

    摘要: A digital processing unit for converting a digital picture signal into data by blocks and for correction encoding a variable-length encoded signal. This digital processing unit includes a digital data compressing section for dividing a picture signal into a plurality of number of blocks, and compressingly outputting digital data of this picture signal based on a processing unit of one or a few blocks, a buffer section for sequentially storing the digital data, and an error correction encoding section for sequentially reading the digital data from this buffer section, and structuring an inner code for each inner block structured by this digital data and structuring an outer code for each predetermined unit of inner blocks, to thereby structure two-dimensional error correction code blocks, to output an error correction code signal. Further, the error correction encoding section has the length of the digital data of the picture signal included in the inner code set to be equal to or larger than a mean code length of predetermined compressed blocks.
