Abstract:
The identity of the sender of an e-mail message is verified by performing a plurality of tests on DNS information. The DNS information is based on a client IP address or a sender address. Each test performed has a corresponding intrinsic confidence value representing the degree of confidence the test provides of the sender identity relationship. If multiple tests are successful the test result with the highest confidence value of the hierarchy of confidence values is used. The confidence value is optionally used in subsequent identity tests as specified by the subsequent test.
Abstract:
A multi-test management of unwanted, unsolicited e-mail for potential SPAM wherein components of an e-mail from a sender directed to a recipient comprising any one of an envelope, one or more headers or a body, the sender having a sender identity are used to verify the sender identity. When the sender identity is verified, a first SPAM management process is performed on the e-mail. When, however, the verifying step fails to verify the sender identity a second SPAM management process is performed on the e-mail.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides for a system and method for detecting explosives and other materials in a sample scene. First interacted photons are produced from a target area wherein the first interacted photons are generated via solar radiation. The first interacted photons are assessed to thereby generate a SWIR hyperspectral image. The SWIR hyperspectral image is analyzed to identify an area of interest likely of comprising an explosive material. The area of interest is illuminated using laser light illumination to generate second interacted photons from the area of interest. These second interacted photons are assessed to determine whether it not an explosive material is present in the area of interest. The system and method may be configured in standoff, OTM, static and UGV configurations.
