A dental repositioning device is disclosed which comprises a support plate having a first rod embedded therein and a second rod embedded therein, a first anterior mechanism having a top opening for receiving a set screw and a rear opening, a second anterior mechanism having a top opening for receiving a set screw and a rear opening, a first rod connected between the first anterior mechanism and a first rear mechanism and a spring inserted over the first rod between the first anterior mechanism and the first rear mechanism, a second rod connected between the second anterior mechanism and a second rear mechanism and a spring inserted over the second rod between the second anterior mechanism and the second rear mechanism, a first Z-clip for insertion into the first rear mechanism and a first buccal tube, and a second Z-clip for insertion into the second rear mechanism and a second buccal tube.

Provided is an ironing appliance, including a pump that has a pumping chamber provided with an inlet and an outlet, the pumping chamber including a movable wall having an outer surface contacting a piezoelectric actuator provided to move the movable wall while changing the volume of the pumping chamber by the piezoelectric actuator, wherein the pump is placed in the ironing appliance such that the outlet of the pumping chamber is located at a higher level than the inlet in a normal position for operating the appliance.

A plunger-cylinder assembly for a press including a plunger which is accommodated at least in part in a cylinder while separating the interior of the cylinder into two partial chambers along the cylinder axis. A relieving device which counteracts an increase in pressure of a fluid accommodated in the first partial chamber is disposed in at least one first partial chamber the increase in pressure being caused by a movement of the plunger along the cylinder axis in the direction of the first partial chamber. A hydraulic press encompassing such a plunger-cylinder assembly is also described.

The present invention relates to a method for the production of pulverulent high-molecular water-soluble polymers for application in solid/liquid separation processes. The invention relates in particular to a method for modifying and drying inverse polymer dispersions with the help of kneading technology whilst recovering the solvents used.

Control apparatus for a piston/cylinder arrangement, wherein the piston/cylinder arrangement has a cylinder and a piston which is accommodated at least partially in the cylinder and divides the cylinder interior along the cylinder axis into two part spaces, having a valve arrangement which is connected to a first part space and assumes a closed position which prevents a fluid which is held in the first part space from flowing out of this part space if the pressure in the fluid is smaller than a pressure control value which is set on the valve arrangement, and which opens into an opening position which makes this outflow possible if the pressure in the fluid is correspondingly greater than the pressure control value which has been set, having a priming device which is coupled to the valve arrangement and the first part space, serves to prepare for the damping of a pressure increase in the fluid which is brought about by a movement of the piston which is caused by a load which acts on the piston in the direction of the first part space, and by means of which a pressure increase can be generated in the fluid to a predefined pressure priming value independently of the load, and a method for controlling a piston/cylinder arrangement of this type and the use of a control apparatus of this type for a piston/cylinder arrangement of a hydraulic press.

An iron comprising a sole plate and a heating body (2) provided with a heating element (201), wherein the heating body (2) includes a first steam chamber (210) used for ordinary ironing, and a second steam chamber (220) used to provide extra steam when the iron is in a horizontal position, or a steam jet when the iron is in a vertical position, and liquid is supplied to said second steam chamber (220) by means of a pump manually operated by the user and combined with a steam circuit (223) ending in a set of vapour outlets in the sole plate, characterised in that when the iron is held in a vertical position, the second steam chamber (220) operates as a boiler-type steam generator, and in that when the iron is in said vertical position, the shape of the second steam chamber (220) is such that the liquid injected by the pump can be retained prior to vaporisation.
