    Abstract: The present invention relates to an extrusion press (10, 20, 30) with a press cylinder (111), the press cylinder (111) being driven with an electro-hydrostatic control system (104) for a power transmission and being connected to a separate drive (120, 400) for rapid traverse, with a container (115), wherein the container (115) is connected to a hydraulic cylinder (117) for a power transmission and to a further separate drive (119, 300) for rapid traverse, with a hydraulic cylinder (101) with a locking device (103) for driving a shearing tool (102), wherein the hydraulic cylinder (101) is connected to the electro-hydrostatic control system (104), and wherein the press cylinder (111) in the power transmission and the hydraulic cylinder (101) for driving a shearing tool (102) are controlled alternately via the common electro-hydrostatic control system (104).

    Abstract: A pressing machine is described for plastically deforming a tubular workpiece, in particular a fitting. The pressing machine has a motor, and pressing jaws which are driven by the motor and can apply a force to the workpiece during operation. The pressing machine also has a power transmission unit coupled to the motor and the pressing jaws for transmitting power from the motor to the pressing jaws. The pressing machine also has at least one sensor unit for measuring at least one pressing parameter P and a controller which receives the currently measured value of the pressing parameter P from the sensor unit and determines therewith the pitch or slope of a press parameter curve K of the press parameter P. The controller terminates a pressing operation before reaching a maximum possible pressing force Pmax when the pitch or slope of the press parameter curve K of the press parameter P satisfies a shutdown criterion. Also described is a corresponding method for operating a pressing machine.

    Abstract: A press machine is provided. Two vertical hydraulic cylinders are arranged on an upper beam plate of a press machine body, and the two hydraulic cylinders correspond to workbenches at corresponding positions in a one-to-one correspondence, constituting left and right working units, and a common mechanical drive unit and a common hydraulic drive unit are set for the left and right working units. The mechanical driving unit is composed of a driving motor through an electromagnetic clutch, an electromagnetic brake and lead screw nut driving mechanism driven by a gear pair. According to the load profiles during the working process of hydraulic press machine, the mechanical driving unit or the hydraulic driving unit are selected to provide energy for the two working units. A control method for the press machine, a press machine execution system and a control method for the press machine execution system are further involved.

    Abstract: An electro-hydrostatic drive for realizing a rapid movement and a force-building movement, comprising a hydro-machine with variable volume and/or rotational speed, driven by an electric motor, for providing a volume-flow of a hydraulic fluid, a first cylinder with a housing, a piston, a cylinder rod, and a first and a second cylinder chamber, a second cylinder with a piston, a cylinder rod, and a first and a second cylinder chamber, a moveable carrier plate, a pillar, and a clamping apparatus to clamp and/or unclamp the first cylinder to the pillar, where the hydraulic drive has a closed hydraulic circuit, which has, when run, a positive pressure above atmospheric pressure and which, by utilizing the hydro-machine, can pressurize either the first or the second cylinder chamber of the first cylinder and/or the first or the second cylinder chamber of the second cylinder. The moveable carrier plate is connected both to the first cylinder and to the second cylinder. For the force-building movement, the first cylinder is clamped, by the clamping apparatus, to the pillar and one cylinder chamber of the first cylinder is pressurized with the hydraulic fluid, and for the rapid movement, the first cylinder is unclamped, by the clamping apparatus, from the pillar and one cylinder chamber of the second cylinder is pressurized with the hydraulic fluid.

    Abstract: An actuator device includes two drive units for an actuator output element. The first drive unit has a first piston chamber and a first piston displaceable therein and also first hydraulic means for displacing the piston. The second drive unit has a second piston chamber and a second piston displaceable therein and also second hydraulic or pneumatic means for displacing the piston. The second piston is joined to the actuator output element for conjoint movement therewith and can be coupled to the first piston for thrust, so that the second piston is displaceable in an outward direction by the first piston. The first drive unit is configured for a larger thrust force than the second drive unit, while the second drive unit is designed for a greater stroke speed than the first drive unit.
