The actuator has an axis, the housing has a first end and an aperture positioned at the first end of the housing, and the actuator rod extends through the aperture along the axis of the actuator. The snubber assembly is mounted at the first end of the housing, and includes one or more energy absorbing devices. The snubber assembly is positioned on the housing such that an axis of each of the one or more energy absorbing devices is offset relative to the axis of the actuator. The snubber assembly is configured such that the one or more energy absorbing devices provide bidirectional end-of-stroke damping.

An output member (24) is moved upward by pressurized oil supplied to the actuation chamber (21). In the actuation chamber (21), to which pressurized oil is supplied, a release spring (33) is attached between a leading end wall (31) of the actuation chamber (21) and a flange portion (25a) provided to a base end portion of the output member (24). The release spring (33) biases the output member (24) downward.

    摘要: A pneumatic or hydraulic mechanism has a housing defining a piston chamber and having a fluid inlet port. A piston is slidable in the piston chamber. The piston partitions the piston chamber into a front chamber and a rear chamber. The piston has one or more passages for fluid communication between the rear chamber and the front chamber, the one or more passages being sealed by a sealing mechanism. The sealing mechanism has a sealing state in which the sealing mechanism substantially inhibits fluid communication between the rear chamber and the front chamber, and a non-sealing state in which the sealing mechanism allows fluid communication between the rear chamber and the front chamber. The piston is slidable between a first position and a second position. When the piston is positioned in the first position, the sealing mechanism is in the sealing state. Upon supply of a fluid to the inlet port, the fluid urges the piston to its second position and then causes the sealing mechanism to change to the non-sealing state until the pressure in the rear chamber and the front chamber equalises, allowing the sealing mechanism to return to the sealing state. Upon removal of fluid from the rear chamber, the fluid in the front chamber urges the piston to return to its first position.

    摘要: An actuator (1) for an automated or automatic transmission has a cylinder housing (3), a piston unit (2), and a piston rod (13). The piston unit (2) is coupled to the piston rod (13) and is arranged movably in the cylinder housing (3) along a longitudinal axis (4). The piston unit (2) separates two pressure chambers (8, 9) of variable volume in the cylinder housing (3). The pressure chambers are configured to load the piston unit (2) with compressed air on both sides. The two pressure chambers (8, 9) are connected to a valve unit (14) for switching between pressurization and purging of each of the two pressure chambers (8, 9). An end stop clamping device for damping at least one end stop of the piston unit (2) is arranged in the actuator (1).     摘要: A piston's stroke length may be restricted by passing a rod through a through hole in the piston. The stroke length's boundaries may be defined by the points where an interior of the through hole contacts an exterior of the rod. Adjusting a position or orientation of the rod may alter this stroke length. If the rod comprises a noncylindrical external geometry, a radius thereof may vary along an axial length of the rod or around a circumference thereof. Adjustment of the rod, via axial translation or rotation for example, may change the position of contact between the rod and the through hole. Alternately, the through hole may comprise a unique geometry in which the rod may radially translate to adjust the piston's stroke length.
