摘要: The invention relates to a method for installing a target application on an NFC-enabled device, such as an NFC-enabled mobile phone. If the NFC-enabled device is unable to identify or find the target application associated with a Target Identifier (Target ID) in a received Generic Control record, a look-up table in which Target IDs are associated with target URIs from which installation files for the target applications of the Target IDs can be downloaded is used to retrieve the target URI of the Target ID in the received Generic Control record. One or several installation files for the target application are then downloaded from the retrieved target URI, whereupon the target application of the Target ID in the received Generic Control record is installed on the NFC-enabled device using the downloaded installation file(s).

摘要: The invention relates to a method for processing laundry in a laundry processing device (110) comprising a drum (112) that is rotatably mounted on a support so as to be rotated about a substantially horizontal axis. The method comprises recording, while the laundry is being processed, a signal that is correlated to the interaction between the drum (112) and the laundry (114), and that exhibits a variation caused by the rotation of the drum (112); on the basis of the signal and a desired process result, determining a target rotary speed of the drum (112); and adjusting the rotary speed of the drum (112) to the target rotary speed. Further, the invention relates to a laundry processing device capable of performing the method.

摘要: A system, method, and owner node for securely changing a mobile device from an old owner to a new owner, or from an old operator network to a new operator network. The old owner initiates the change of owner or operator. The old owner or operator then commands the mobile device to change a currently active first key to a second key. The second key is then transferred to the new owner or operator. The new owner or operator then commands the mobile device to change the second key to a third key for use between the mobile device and the new owner or operator. Upon completion of the change, the new owner or operator does not know the first key in use before the change, and the old owner does not know the third key in use after the change.

摘要: An adjustable pedal assembly includes a mounting arrangement (1) for attachment to a vehicle structure (37), an accelerator pedal (6), a brake pedal (7), and a clutch pedal (8). The pedals (6, 7, 8) are pivotally supported with respect to the mounting arrangement (1) and define a first pivot axis (9). An adjustment element (5) is pivotally supported with respect to the mounting structure (1) and defines a second pivot axis (4). The adjustment element (5) selectively moves the pedals (6, 7, 8) between a plurality of operable positions. The adjustable pedal assembly is characterized by the pedals (6, 7, 8) being pivotally supported with respect to the adjustment element (5) wherein the second pivot axis (4) is generally parallel to the first pivot axis (9). A driving mechanism with an electric motor (11) and gear assembly (12) is used to rotate the adjustment element (5) about the second pivot axis (4). The pedals (6, 7, 8) are pivotally mounted within the adjustment element (5) to pivot about the first pivot axis (9), thus the first pivot axis (9) moves with respect to the second pivot axis (4) when the adjustment element (5) is rotated.

摘要: A waste incinerator system is disclosed for incinerating waste in a holding tank. The system comprises a pump in fluid communication with the waste, and which is adapted to pump waste out of the holding tank and into a substantially hollow burning chamber. The burning chamber includes a raised open end and a lowered chimney end. The chimney end is sealed with a selectively removable chamber plate and includes a chimney for venting exhaust fumes from within the burning chamber. A waste tray is adapted to be slid into the burning chamber through the chimney end and holds waste received from the pump. A burner assembly is fixed adjacent with the open end of the burning chamber and adapted to direct a flame into the open end of the burning chamber to heat the waste tray and incinerate the waste therein. A housing is included to enclose the burner assembly and the burning chamber.

摘要: According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of at least partly delegating processing of data in a machine-to-machine system to reduce computational load on a broker entity 11 while maintaining security of the data to be processed, the broker entity 11 serving as a link between a node 13 of a sensor network providing the data and an application node 12 requesting the data. In the method, at the broker entity 11, following receipt of a request for processed data from the application node 12, determining the node to provide the data to be processed, generating a data key for the data-providing node 13, generating a data-processing algorithm for processing the data in dependence upon the request, sending the data key to the data-providing node 13, and sending the data key and data-processing algorithm to a remote data-processing entity 15. At the data-providing node 13, encrypting the data using the data key and sending the encrypted data to the data-processing entity 15. At the data-processing entity 15, decrypting the data using the data key, processing the data using the data-processing algorithm, and sending the processed data to the application node 12.

摘要: Methods and systems taught herein allow communication device manufacturers to preconfigure communication devices to use preliminary access credentials to gain temporary network access for downloading subscription credentials, and particularly allow the network operator issuing the subscription credentials to verify that individual devices requesting credentials are trusted. In one or more embodiments, a credentialing server is owned or controlled by the network operator, and is used by the network operator to verify that subscription credentials are issued only to trusted communication devices, even though such devices may be referred to the credentialing server by an external registration server and may be provisioned by an external provisioning server. Particularly, the credentialing server interrogates requesting devices for their device certificates and submits these device certificates to an external authorization server, e.g., an independent OCSP server, for verification. A common Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) may be used for operator and device certificates.
