    摘要: A liquid crystal (LC) injection device is disclosed in the present invention and includes an LC container, a transporting pipe, a filter and an LC extractor. An inner wall of a bottom in the LC container is a concave shape. The transporting pipe is disposed within the LC container and contacted the inner wall of the bottom in the LC container. The present invention also discloses an LC container. The present invention is to increase the utilization efficiency of the LC container, decrease the LCs waste and enhance the accuracy of the measurement of the remaining LC quantity in the LC bottle.

    摘要: A method for monitoring a fluidic system of a liquid chromatography system is characterized by: (a) drawing a fluid into a syringe pump; (b) configuring a valve so as to fluidically couple the pump to either a fluidic pathway through the fluidic system or to a plug that prevents fluid flow; (c) causing the syringe pump to progressively compress the fluid therein or expel the fluid to the fluidic pathway, while measuring a pressure of the fluid; (d) determining a profile of the variation of the measured pressure; (e) comparing the determined profile to an expected profile that depends upon the fluid; and (f) providing a notification of a sub-optimal operating condition or malfunction if the determined profile varies from the expected profile by greater than a predetermined tolerance.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a phosphorus-silicon synergistic flame retardant and the preparation method and use thereof. The phosphorus-silicon synergistic flame retardant provided by the present invention has a structural general formula shown as formula I. A new type of compound containing phosphorus and silicon is prepared by the present invention using the cheap organic boron catalyst, and employing the addition reaction of diphenyl phosphine oxide and derivatives thereof with silicone containing carbon-carbon double bond. Such compounds have the properties of hydrolytic resistance, easy purification, and low synthesis cost, etc. Phosphorus and silicon elements in the molecular structures of such compounds both can act as the flame retardants solely, and meantime can work synergistically, thereby enduing the common polymeric materials with the excellent flame retardant property.

    摘要: A method of pitching a tread for a tire to achieve a satisfactory noise power spectrum has the steps of: selecting an upper (u) and a lower (l) extreme of pitch ratios; permitting continuous variables of pitch ratios to exist between the upper (u) and lower (l) extreme of pitch ratios; and conducting an optimization of continuous variables between and including the two selected extremes of pitch ratios; wherein the pitch lengths of each tread element can be different in length to control noise and uniformity harmonics. The method may include other optimization steps in a combinatorial fashion such as using an integer programming formulation that determines discrete values of pitch ratios to get a pitch sequence, using genetic algorithm (GA) programming; or any other combinatorial optimization technique.
