摘要: An I/O interface configuration device for configuring I/O interfaces comprises an input interface, an output interface, a storage unit, a detecting pin, a converting unit and a computing unit. The input interface electrically connects to a controlling port of a controlling circuit to receive a data type. The output interface electrically connects to a controlled port of a controlled device to output another data type. The storage unit stores a plurality of configuration files, one of the configuration files corresponds to a circuit type of the controlling circuit. The detecting pin is adapted to retrieve the circuit type. The converting unit converts the data type to said another data type and selectively outputs said another data type from the output interface. The computing unit loads the configuration file corresponding to the circuit type and control the converting unit to configure the I/O interface according to the configuration file.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for an optimal timer array using a single reference counter are presented. According to one aspect, timers of the timer array use the single reference counter to process different timed trigger requests. A count translation logic block translates counts corresponding to the requested timed triggers to target values of the reference counter. Register arrays that include the target values and active/inactive status flags of the timers are used to implement specific timers. Comparators are used to compare values of the reference counter to the target values to establish expiration of the requested timed triggers. A target translation logic block translates a current value of the reference counter to an offset value from the target values for monitoring by an external circuit.

摘要: An aspect of some embodiments of the current invention relates to a device, that may ignite a substance without the user directly causing the ignition. for example, the device may perform ignition in a manner that does not transgress Jewish religious prohibitions, for example the Jewish religious law prohibits kindling a flame on the Sabbath and/or festivals. In some cases, kindling may be permitted in an indirect manner referred to in Jewish law by the Aramaic term “Grama”. For example, the device may be designed to ignite a cigarette. Optionally, the device may be designed to be carried safely in a pocket. In some embodiments, the device may initiate ignition without direct user action and/or the initial ignition may be used to ignite another object in accordance with Jewish law allowing transfer of fire but prohibiting starting of a new fire on a holiday.

摘要: A detection device is connected to a plurality of communication devices by a communication line. The detection device has a reception unit, a measurement unit, and a detection unit. The reception unit receives signals with prescribed pulse widths transmitted from the plurality of communication devices, respectively. The measurement unit measures the pulse widths of the signals received by the reception unit. The detection unit is configured to detect the communication device disposed near a terminal end of the communication line as a terminal-end communication device on the basis of the plurality of pulse widths measured by the measurement unit.

摘要: A store is described, including an ordering interface, a storage area, automated vehicles, and a central processing system. The ordering interface accepts selections of items for purchase from a shopper. The storage area, stocking items for sale, is separate from the area containing the ordering interface. The automated vehicles retrieve items from the storage area. The central processing system is configured to: check-in the shopper; assign an order fulfilment module to the shopper; receive selections of items from the ordering interface in real-time, as the shopper selects the items for purchase; send the selections to the order fulfilment module for retrieval in real-time; check-out the shopper when the shopper is finished selecting items; and arrange delivery of the completed order to the shopper. The order fulfilment module assigns automated vehicles to retrieve the items for purchase in real-time. A method for operating a store is also described.
