Responsive to a determination that the partial update is applicable to the image frame, whether or not at least a difference between one or more properties of the image frame and one or more properties of a previous image frame exceeds a threshold may be determined. A partial-frame processing may be performed to partially update the image frame responsive to a determination that the difference does not exceed the threshold.
