Abstract:
Methods and systems to provide digitally controlled crystal oscillators are disclosed. One example method includes determining a state of an oscillator system and selecting a first output of a digitally controlled crystal oscillator or a second output of a second oscillator based on the determination. In an example implementation, the second oscillator is a ring oscillator.
Abstract:
A touch sensing circuit and method is provided. The touch sensing circuit discriminates a common voltage change of a display panel couple to the touch sensor in a touch panel display apparatus. The touch sensor comprises a plurality of sensor electrodes. The touch sensing circuit includes a plurality of channel circuits, each of which includes a reset switch and a sensing switch for alternately conducting an associated sensor electrode to a reset voltage and a charge collecting circuit. The channel circuits are divided to different groups that operate according to interleaving timings for encompassing possible common voltage changes.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus to perform radio frequency (RF) analog-to-digital conversion are described. According to one example, a receiver includes an amplifier to amplify received analog RF signals and a mixer-free circuit for converting the received analog RF signals to digital signals.

Abstract:
A tire puncture repair deivce comprises a hollow shank with a notched free end and an attached handle, a threaded conical penetrater having lugs on the bottom thereof, and an elongate resilient obturator fixed on one end to the bottom of the penetrater. The obturater is insertable within the bore of the shank wherein the lugs of the penetrater engages the notches thereon so as to rotate therewith. The penetrater and obturater are held in place by a spring loaded catch lever hingedly attached to the shank which engages a recess in the obturater through an opening in the shank. After penetration of a puncture the obturater is released by depressing the lever, and then ejected by moving a slide member, having a piston in abutment with the free end of the obturater, forward. The shank is subsequently extracted from the tire wall leaving the obturater therein to seal the puncture.

Abstract:
A multi-tap direct sub-sampling mixing system for wireless receivers is provided with a dynamically configurable passive switched capacitor filter. A front end amplifier is connected to receive a signal. The passive switched capacitor filter is connected to receive the amplified signal and has an output for providing a filtered signal. The switched capacitor filter has at least two sections that are each operable as a pole, wherein a first section of the at least two sections has sets of at least two stacked capacitors interconnected with a set of switches operable to amplify in input voltage provided to an input of the first section in response to operation of the set of switches; and a back end section connected to the output of the switched capacitor filter to receive the filtered signal.
Abstract:
A tire puncture repair device comprising a handle, an attached shank member, a conical threaded penetrater member, and a bolt/cover assembly. An elongate resilient obturater strip is threaded through an eyelet on the bottom of the penetrater member, folded lengthwise thereabout and inserted into the bore of the shank member. The ends of the inserted obturater strip are secured to respective anchor plates on a medial portion of the shank member, and the bolt/cover assembly secured thereover. The shank member is then inserted through a tire puncture with the threaded penetrater member boring therethrough. Afterwhich, a sliding bolt member is displaced forward within the shank member so as to push the penetrater member away from the end thereof and into the interior of the tire, carrying a bight of obturator strip therewith. The shank member is then extracted from the tire wall wherein the obturater strip remains lodged therein to seal the puncture.
