摘要: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for receivers. In one aspect there is provided an apparatus. In some example embodiments, there is provided an apparatus. The apparatus may include a first N-path filter configured with at least a first passband, wherein the first N-path filter is coupled to a radio frequency input port providing at least a first carrier aggregation signal, a second carrier aggregation signal, and an interfering signal; a second N-path filter configured with at least a second passband, wherein the second N-path filter is coupled to the radio frequency input port providing at least the first carrier aggregation signal, the second carrier aggregation signal, and the interfering signal; and a combiner configured to subtract a first output of the first N-path filter from a second output of the second N-path filter. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.

According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a tunable transmissive filter that includes a splitter for splitting an input signal into a first signal and a second signal, a first modifier circuit for modifying a characteristic of the first signal to produce a modified first signal, a second modifier circuit for using feedforward cancellation to modify a characteristic of the second signal to produce a modified second signal, the second modifier circuit including an N-path filter, N being an integer greater than 0; and a combiner for combining the modified first signal and the modified second signal to produce a filtered output signal having a bandpass response.

摘要: An integrated circuit for a radio receiver comprising a radio-frequency amplifier and a radio-frequency filter is described. The amplifier receives radio-frequency signals from an antenna, the filter is connected to the amplifier output, and the output of the filter is provided to a processing stage of the receiver. The amplifier comprises an amplifying stage controlled by a radio-frequency input signal and a signal fed back from the filter. The amplifier input impedance is substantially matched to the antenna impedance at a frequency band of interest. The signal fed back from the filter providing attenuation of signals outside the frequency band of interest at the amplifier input. The filter comprises one or more filter components. A filter component comprises a first input and a second input for receiving the amplifier output, a first switch arranged to selectively connect the first input to a first impedance, a second switch arranged to selectively connect the first input to a second impedance, a third switch arranged to selectively connect the second input to the first impedance, and a fourth switch arranged to selectively connect the second input to the second impedance. The first and fourth switches are controlled by a first oscillator signal and the second and third switches are controlled by a second oscillator signal that is 180° out of phase with the first oscillator signal.

摘要: A SAW-less transmitter includes an up-conversion mixing module, a frequency translated BPF (FTBPF), an output module, and a power amplifier driver. The up-conversion mixing module converts an outbound symbol stream into an up-converted signal. The FTBPF frequency translates a baseband filter response to an RF bandpass filter response and filter the up-converted signal in accordance with the RF bandpass filter response to produce a filtered up-converted signal. The output module conditions the filtered up-converted signal to produce a conditioned up-converted signal. The power amplifier driver amplifies the conditioned up-converted signal to produce an outbound RF signal.

摘要: A system or circuit for simulating a potentiometer, thermistor, or the like. A pulse stream, having a duty cycle which is varied as a changing pulse width or as a differing number of time slices per time period, may be input to the system. The pulse stream to a transistor or switch-like mechanism may allow a controlled connection of a fixed value resistor to a reference voltage or ground to provide various resultant values of impedance or resistance. A measuring circuit connected to the output of the system may determine a value which is of the fixed value resistor divided by the duty cycle of the pulse train effectively controlling the connection of the resistor to ground. One or more additional circuits may be connected in parallel to achieve greater accuracy.

摘要: One embodiment of an impedance stabilizer for use with a switching voltage regulator supplied by a source of an electrical voltage has an impedance and a switch controllable to permit current from a source to flow through the impedance. Control circuitry to operate the switch cyclically with a controlled duty cycle is responsive to variations in the voltage of the source having a frequency lower than a cycle rate of the switch to increase the duty cycle of the switch as the voltage of the source increases.

摘要: A method of providing an input signal to a mixer circuit comprises coupling an output signal from a low-noise amplifier circuit to a mixer input of the mixer circuit via an AC coupling circuit, comprising an inductive of capacitive coupling circuit. For capacitive coupling configurations, a coupling capacitor is configured to have a capacitance value determined as a function of a transconductance sensitivity of the mixer circuit. For balanced output configurations of the low-noise amplifier circuit, matched coupling capacitors are used for coupling the balanced output signals to respective inputs of the mixer circuit. In one embodiment, the mixer circuit comprises a quadrature mixer circuit, which may be in a balanced or double-balanced configuration. In another embodiment, the mixer circuit comprises a four-phase mixer circuit, which may be configured as a balanced four-phase mixer circuit coupled to the low-noise amplifier circuit via inductive or capacitive embodiments of the coupling circuit.
