摘要: A thin-film transistor (hereinafter referred to as “TFT”) LCD (liquid crystal display) apparatus and its manufacturing method can improve the shortages of improper metal coating protection and incomplete light shielding. Besides, the semi-conductor layer usually uses A-Si layer as a light shielding and a coating materials. Furthermore, the TFT-LCD apparatus and its manufacturing method of the present invention can effectively overcome incomplete light shielding problem of the prior art without using extra numbers of masks for achieving the anti-electrostatic purpose.

摘要: A pixel structure of a display panel includes a substrate, a thin film transistor (TFT), a first transparent connecting pad, a passivation layer and a transparent pixel electrode. The TFT disposed on the substrate includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode and a drain electrode. The gate insulating layer is disposed on the gate electrode, the semiconductor layer is disposed on the gate insulating layer, and the source electrode and the drain electrode are disposed on the semiconductor layer. The first transparent connecting pad disposed on the drain electrode partially overlaps and is electrically connected to the drain electrode. The passivation layer disposed on the first transparent connecting pad includes at least a contact hole. Furthermore, the transparent pixel electrode disposed on the passivation layer is electrically connected to the first transparent connecting pad through the contact hole of the passivation layer.

The inspecting circuit layout is adapted for inspecting panel units group by group, each of the panel units having a plurality of first and second signal lines. The inspecting circuit layout includes a multiplexer (MUX) and an inspecting pad. 摘要: A fabricating method of a pixel structure is provided. First, a substrate with a plurality of pixel areas is provided. A common electrode is formed on the substrate to surround each pixel area. Then, a capacitance storage electrode is formed on the common electrode, and a first passivation layer is formed to cover the capacitance storage electrode and the common electrode. Following that, a scan line and a gate electrode are formed within each pixel area. Next, a gate insulation layer and a semiconductor layer are formed. A data line, a source, and a drain are formed within each pixel area. After that, a second passivation layer is formed on the substrate, and a contact window is formed in the second passivation layer above the drain. Moreover, a pixel electrode is formed within each pixel area, and the pixel electrode is electrically connected with the drain through the contact window.

摘要: A liquid crystal display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The liquid crystal display panel comprises a color filter substrate and a thin film transistor array substrate arranged in parallel and a liquid crystal layer between the substrates. In addition, several spacers are disposed on a black matrix of the color filter substrate. These spacers lean on the edge of at least one of the gate layer lines and source layer lines on the thin film transistor array substrate. The invention increases the bonding stability between the color filter substrate and the thin film transistor array substrate so that the reliability and display quality of the liquid crystal display panel is improved.
