摘要： An apparatus for mounting on an upper portion of a ladder to stabilize the ladder by facilitating a transfer of weight from the ladder to a horizontal or pitched surface in contact with the apparatus. The apparatus comprises a frame comprising a pair of connecting members for attaching to the upper portion of the ladder, a pair of extension arms secured to the frame and having a distance between them that is less than or equal to a distance between the stiles of the ladder, and a plate pivotably attached to both of the extension arms and having a flat surface. The extension arms have means for locking the arms in any one of a plurality of angles relative to a plane defined by the ladder.

摘要： The present invention provides a biocompatible coating comprising calcium phosphate that is functionally graded across the thickness of the coating. The coating, which preferably includes hydroxyapatite, is particularly useful for coating implants, such as dental or orthopedic implants. The functionally graded coating is generally crystalline near the interface with the surface of the implant, with crystallinity and crystal diameter decreasing toward the outer layer of the coating. The invention further provides methods for preparing a coated implant comprising a functionally graded calcium phosphate coating thereon.

A set of one or more hardware range registers that protect a contiguous memory space that is to store the VMM runtime integrity watcher. The set of hardware range registers are to protect the VMM runtime integrity watcher from being modified when loaded into the contiguous memory space. The VMM runtime integrity watcher, when executed, performs an integrity check on a VMM during runtime of the VMM. Execution of the VMM runtime integrity watcher is triggered by a timer event generated based on multiple frequency bands.

摘要： A tub assembly is provided with a tub and a surround wall. The surround wall is spaced from a nail flange on the tub by a desired distance with a simple wall fastener. The wall fastener clips onto the nail flange, and has a forward face spaced from the nail flange by a desired distance. The forward face provides a stop and securement surface for the surround wall. The wall fastener includes a clip portion that clips onto the nail flange, and has a plurality of discrete clip portions. The clip portions can be broken away from the wall fastener at locations which will be aligned with a wall stud. In this manner, the wall fastener can be quickly clipped onto the nail flange of the tub once the tub is installed. The surround wall can then be simply adhered to a forward face of the wall fastener, such that the entire tub assembly can be easily and properly assembled.
