    摘要： In order to derive the temperature in the mesopause region from hydroxyl (OH*) airglow, in which intensities of three lines of OH* emission and a basic position are measured during the night using ground-based IR spectrometers, a noisy OH* spectrum is smoothed by filtering out white noise superimposed on the measured OH* intensities, by means of a spectral analysis method in the form of a harmonic analysis and by means of adaptation using the Voigt function which is carried out in the form of a combination of a Lorentz distribution and a Doppler distribution. A decision is made on the quality of the adaptation of the smoothed spectrum obtained to the original spectrum using statistical characteristic variables and by selecting one of the two methods, harmonic analysis function or Voigt function, and the temperature is thus accurately determined.

    摘要： An adjustment device for a vehicle component, in particular for the back rest of a vehicle seat, is proposed having a first fitting and a second fitting, wherein the relative position of the two fittings to one another can be changed by means of eccentric means, wherein a rotation of the eccentric means by means of a drive element is provided, wherein the adjustment device has a central element which is connected in a rotationally fixed fashion to the first fitting, wherein the drive element is provided mounted in an overlapping region by means of the central element. Furthermore, the invention relates to an adjustment device for a vehicle component, in particular for the back rest of a vehicle seat, having a first fitting (8) and a second fitting (11), wherein the relative position of the two fittings to one another can be changed by means of an eccentric (1) which transmits a torque from a drive (4) to the first fitting (8) so that said first fitting (8) rolls on the second fitting (11), and wherein the eccentric comprises at least one eccentric means (2) which can be driven by a driver (3) which is arranged on the drive (4).

    摘要： For the detection of geotectonic signals triggered by a geotectonic event, an infrasonic wave accompanying the geotectonic event and being generated at the ground and temperature fluctuations are utilized, causing a modulation of an airglow. The modulation of the airglow is detected from the ground by means of an infrared spectrometer and the mesopause temperature is measured with a high temporal resolution. For the detection of a geostationary event, a number of simultaneously operated infrared spectrometers is provided in regions sensitive to geotectonic events.

    摘要： The present invention describes methods for carrying out experiments on living cells, including making measurements of the operation transcriptional regulatory processes and indicators of the kinds of processes operating in the cell in response to external stimuli. Image analysis allows for gathering data concerning the flow of information through a cell's genomic regulatory network as it is executing a programmatic change in its activities as a function of said stimuli. The method also allows collection of data of the results of the information-processing in the cell by observing the decisions the cell makes when modulating cellular process activities.
