摘要: The disclosure relates, in one aspect, to a friction brake cooling system for a machine. The cooling system includes at least one pump connected to at least one reservoir containing cooling fluid. A controller is configured to divert a cooling fluid flow through a valve to a first friction brake system and to a second friction brake system based on the use of the systems. In another aspect, the disclosure relates to a method of cooling a first friction brake system and a second friction brake system including diverting a flow of brake cooling fluid to the systems based on the use of the systems.

摘要: An axle assembly includes an electric drive motor oriented along an axis and disposed within a central axle housing. The electric drive motor includes a motor housing having an engagement face perpendicular to the axis. A spindle assembly includes an external connection to the central axle housing and an internal engagement face that is perpendicular to the axis. A sealing member is in sealing contact with the engagement face of the motor housing and the internal engagement face of the spindle assembly.

摘要: An adaptor for a wheel assembly is disclosed. The adaptor has a reversible design for convenient reconfiguration of the wheel assembly without additional hardware. In one general non-limiting embodiment, the adaptor may include an inner ring and an outer ring fixedly connected to the inner ring. The inner and outer rings may be concentric around an axis. The inner and outer rings may be offset from each other. Methods of using the adaptor to change wheel configurations to accommodate different tire sizes are also disclosed.
