摘要: Method of preparing a phosphor suspension by mixing a photosensitive material, a photosensitizer, and a phosphor for the purpose of forming a photosensitive film. The photosensitizer in the suspension is a chromic-acid solution. With such a phosphor suspension, a firmly adhering, uniform and compact phosphor film can be formed on the screen substrate. In addition, the phosphor areas obtained by this method have very sharp boundaries.

摘要: A device for sampling liquid samples is provided comprising a capillary-active channel, a sampling site, and a determination site. The capillary-active channel is configured for transporting a sample from the sampling site to the determination site. The capillary-active channel is substantially formed by a carrier, a cover and an intermediate layer located between the carrier and cover. The carrier protrudes beyond the cover in the area of the sampling site. The intermediate layer is displaced towards the back in the direction of the determination site in the area of the sampling site so that the carrier as well as the cover protrude beyond the intermediate layer. The device allows sample to be applied from above onto the exposed area of the carrier in the area of the sampling site and also allows sample to be applied from the side.

摘要: In a color-picture tube, the conductive coating on the inside of the cone is a suspension without organic constituents. The conductive coating on the inside of the neck, which is contiguous to the conductive coating on the inside of the cone, consists of the aforementioned suspension with an addition of organic constituents. A sharp and scratch-resistant boundary between the conductive coating in the neck and the uncoated area of the neck is thus obtained.

摘要: To a suspension of rare-earth phosphors and sulfidic or selenidic phosphors there is added about 1 to 2% of the amount of hypohalogenite which would be necessary to convert the entire sulfidic or selenidic chalcogenide phosphor into a soluble sulfate and/or selenate. When acidifying the dispersion to which hypohalgenite has been added, to a pH value of preferably between 1.5 and 2, a sedimentation of elementary sulphur and/or selenium forms and becomes attached to the sulfidic and/or selenidic phosphor solids, thus causing these phosphor solids to form sediment. The supernatant suspension containing the rare-earth phosphor is then decanted, and the rare-earth phosphor is reclaimed from the suspension. The disclosed reclaiming process is particularly suitable for decontaminating phosphor mixtures for use in manufacturing color television cathode-ray tubes.
