摘要: A flexible bag transport system for transporting flexible filling and sealing station which includes a pair of holding clamp assemblies opposed to each other for holding the top end of a bag. The first clamp assembly is supported by a first elongated carrier and a second clamp assembly is supported by a second elongated carrier that is parallel to the first carrier. Clamping assemblies remain apart from each other and the bags are transported and are displaced toward each other to permit the bag to be opened during filling of the bag. One of the elongated carriers supporting the clamping assemblies has an adjustable mechanism so that the clamp assemblies can be adjusted with respect to each other without requiring adjustment of the remaining components of the transport system.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for forming a low-metal biomass-derived pyrolysis oil are provided. In an embodiment, a method for forming a low-metal biomass-derived pyrolysis oil includes washing biomass comprising a water-soluble metal component therein with wash water that is substantially free of water-soluble metals. The washed biomass and water containing water-soluble metal are separated after washing the biomass. The washed biomass is pyrolyzed in a pyrolysis process to form a pyrolysis vapor stream. A portion of the pyrolysis vapor stream is condensed to form a condensate. The wash water is derived from the washed biomass. In an embodiment of an apparatus, the apparatus comprises a washing stage, a biomass dryer, a pyrolysis reactor, a quenching system comprising a primary condenser and a secondary condenser, and a return line that connects the quenching system to the washing stage.

摘要: Disclosed is the use of an insoluble or sparingly soluble micronized substance class which is not a cosmetic UV absorber and which is dispersed in the oil- or water-phase of a cosmetic or dermatological composition for the enhancement of light protecting action of this cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising at least one cosmetic UV filter which is soluble in the water- or oil-phase. The cosmetic preparation according to the invention shows a remarkable increase in SPF.

摘要: A method for outsert molding a movable plastic part on a metal plate, wherein the movability is obtained automatically through the shrinkage of the plastic. The plastic part consists of a bridge element which traverses a hole in the metal plate and is integrally connected to opposing retaining elements by a film element. The size, shape, and rigidity of the film, bridge, and retaining elements are such that the forces produced during the shrinkage process lift the retaining elements off the metal plate.
