摘要: An adjustable bed comprises an occupant support having adjustable settings that include an elevation, a profile and an angular orientation. The bed also includes an interface for allowing desired values of the adjustable settings to be individually commanded. The bed also includes a single-action boost control for commanding a boost configuration comprising a boost elevation setting and a boost profile setting and a boost angular orientation setting. The bed also includes an adjustment system for adjusting the bed to the desired values of the adjustable settings in response to inputs to the interface and for adjusting the elevation, profile and angular orientation to the boost configuration settings in response to input applied to the single-action boost control.

摘要: A left ventricular lead is provided for placement in a branch vessel of the coronary sinus, the vessel having a vessel wall and an adjacent myocardium. The lead includes a lead body having a central lumen extending therethrough, at least a first electrode on the lead body and at least a first orientation feature protruding from the lead body for orienting one or more of the electrodes into contact with the myocardium. The lead may also include a pre-shaped curvature. The orientation feature may also aid in steering the lead into a selected branch vessel of the coronary sinus and in fixing the lead within the branch vessel.

摘要: A system to provide a specified volume of a medical fluid from a bulk source to a dose and/or delivery container for injection into a patient. The fluid path between the bulk container and the delivery container is physically separated at a connecting site before fluid is injected from the delivery container into the patient. The bulk container may be a bag or bottle, and the delivery container may be a syringe or bag. A bag delivery container may be contained in a pressurizeable chamber and fluid may be delivered by providing pressure to a membrane in the chamber contacting a wall of the bag. The system may be automated.
