    摘要: The present invention presents a method for operating a motor vehicle which has at least one clutch device. The method includes determining at least one part of a dependence of a path of at least one clutch characteristic on at least one pressure value. The pressure value relates to a pressure of a hydraulic fluid at a predetermined site. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the hydraulic pressure is detected in an area of a torque sensor which produces the hydraulic pressure dependent on a size (magnitude) of an engine torque.

    摘要: A transmission for use in the power train of a motor vehicle has a rotary first component (such as a shaft), a second component which may but need not be rotatable, a fluid-conveying conduit having a first end portion extending into a first socket provided in the first component and a second end portion extending into a socket of the second component, a split-ring piston packing located in an external groove of the first end portion, and an O-ring received in an external groove of the second end portion. The O-ring prevents the conduit and the second component from rotating relative to each other. A passage which is defined by the two components and the conduit can receive a stream of pressurized hydraulic fluid from a pump by way of pipes wherein the flow of fluid is controlled by several valves including a manually operated slide valve, at least one preferably adjustable pressure regulating valve, at least one preferably adjustable safety valve, and adjusting means for the adjustable valve or valves; such adjusting means can employ one or more signal-responsive control valves.

    摘要: A torque transmitting device in a drive train of a motor vehicle to transmit torque between an internal combustion engine having a drive shaft and a transmission having coaxial input shafts. The transmission input shafts are each non-rotatably connected with a respective clutch disc having friction linings. An intermediate pressure plate is positioned between the friction linings of the clutch discs and is non-rotatably connected to the engine drive shaft. The friction linings of the clutch discs are between the intermediate pressure plate and respective axially movable clutch pressure plates that are actuated by an actuation device. To provide support for the double clutch unit the intermediate pressure plate is radially mounted on one of the two transmission input shafts.

    摘要: A torsional vibration damper, particularly for use between the engine and the transmission of the power train in a motor vehicle, including two flywheels rotatable relative to each other against the opposition of a first energy storing device employing, for example, one or more coil springs and a second energy storing device, which is carried by one of the flywheels, which operates in parallel with the first energy storing device and which opposes rotation of the two flywheels relative to each other. In order to isolate the irregularities of movement of the first flywheel (such as vibrations which develop while the engine is in operation) from the second flywheel, the second energy storing device (such as a snap spring or a set of diaphragm springs) is coupled to the flywheels in such a way that the second flywheel develops a degressive action only when the first flywheel is caused to move through relatively small angles (especially between 1° and 10°) but not when the angles are larger (especially larger than 10°).

Coupling elements operate between the drive element and the output element and are spaced from each other in the peripheral direction of the drive element and output element for transmitting torque between the elements. The coupling elements change the movement of a peripheral region of the drive element faster than that of the output element so that forces acting on the coupling elements from the drive element and the output element lie substantially in a common plane that extends perpendicularly to the axes of rotation. The continuously variable transmission can be incorporated into a transfer case for an all-wheel drive system.
