摘要： A method and apparatus for converting programs and source code files written in a programming language to equivalent markup language files is provided. The conversion may be accomplished by a static process or by a dynamic process. In a static process, a programming source code file is converted by an application to a markup language file. A document type definition file for a markup language is parsed; a source code statement from a source code file is parsed; an element defined in the document type definition file is selected based on an association between the element and an identifier of a routine in the source code statement; and the selected element is written to a markup language file. In a dynamic process, the program is executed to generate the markup language file that corresponds to the source code file or presentation steps of the program. The application program is executed; a document type definition file for a markup language is provided as input; an element defined in the document type definition file is selected based on a routine called by the application program; and the selected element is written to a markup language file.

摘要： In accordance with the method, system, and program of the present invention, consumer preferences designated for a user are transmitted in a transmittable data format from a portable data processing system associated with the user to multiple independent server systems each associated with a consumer provider from among multiple diverse consumer providers. Specialized services and products from each of the diverse consumer providers are designated for the user at each of the independent server systems, in response to comparing the consumer preferences for the user with a database of services and products at each of the independent server systems. The designated specialized services and products are transmitted to the portable data processing system in the transmittable data format, such that a consumer provider from among multiple diverse consumer providers adjusts offerings of services and products provided to a particular user via a portable data processing system according to electronically received consumer preferences for the particular user.

The dietary needs designated for the particular user are compared with a selection of electronic recipes that are preparable at the particular home base from among the multiple accessible electronic recipes. At least one meal plan is designated from among the selection of electronic recipes that satisfies the dietary needs of the particular user, such that an electronic meal plan is specified on said data processing system for preparation at a particular home base according to dietary needs of a particular user.

An image is received at a receiver communicatively connected via a network to an image server and connected to a display device for output of the image. A translucent style is specified for a particular user at the receiver. A translucent filter overlay is applied over the image according to the translucent style for output to the display device, such that the image output to the display device is adjusted to specifically accommodate for a visual disability of the particular user.

摘要： According to the present invention, environment indicators computed for a particular environment are converted into a common transmittable data format, wherein each of the environment indicators is computed by an electronic environment measurement device from among multiple diverse electronic environment measurement devices. The environment indicators are transmitted in the transmittable data format to a universally accessible server system in association with a particular universal identifier for a particular user. The universally accessible server system analyzes each of the environment indicators according to an environment sensitivity profile stored within the universally accessible server system in association with the universal identifier. Control signals are determined at the universally accessible server system for adjusting multiple environment control systems that control the particular environment in response to the analysis. The particular environment is adjusted as controlled by the environment control systems according to the control signals, such that a particular environment is temporarily managed via a universally accessible server system according to an environment sensitivity profile associated with a particular user.
