Abstract: For example, an apparatus may include an input to receive input information including a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) input including HVAC configuration information corresponding to a configuration of an operation of an HVAC system of a vehicle; a plurality of noise inputs representing acoustic noise at a plurality of noise sensing locations; and a plurality of residual-noise inputs representing acoustic residual-noise at a plurality of residual-noise sensing locations within at least one sound control zone in the vehicle; a controller configured to determine a sound control pattern to control sound within the at least one sound control zone in the vehicle, the controller configured to determine the sound control pattern based on the HVAC input, the plurality of noise inputs and the plurality of residual-noise inputs; and an output to output the sound control pattern to a plurality of acoustic transducers.

Abstract: A vehicle designed for an automated driving operation may have a ventilation device for ventilating a vehicle interior. A control unit and at least one pressure sensor assembly may be provided. The control unit may be designed to activate the ventilation device and to determine a setpoint pressure value of the air pressure within the vehicle interior while the vehicle interior is closed, to infer damage to a vehicle shell surrounding the vehicle interior. Further, the control unit may block the automated driving operation if it is inferred that there is damage to the vehicle shell. Methods for detecting damage to the vehicle and for operating a vehicle are also provided. A device for carrying out a method for detecting damage to a vehicle and/or for carrying out a method for operating a vehicle to a computer program and to a machine-readable storage medium are also provided.

Abstract: A shovel includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body turnably mounted on the lower traveling body, a hydraulic actuator that drives driven parts including the lower traveling body and the upper turning body, a main pump that supplies hydraulic oil to the hydraulic actuators, a pump motor that drives the main pump, and a power storage device that supplies electric power to the pump motor. When the charging cable is connected to the charging port during the operation of the shovel, the shovel causes the hydraulic actuators to shift to the inoperable state. When the charging cable is connected to the charging port, the shovel does not start the pump motor even if an input for starting the pump motor is received from a user.
