摘要： A shoulder adjuster includes a guide rail fitted so that the longitudinal direction is set as a vertical direction to a vehicle and provided with a plurality of notches formed at intervals in the longitudinal direction; and a slide member slidable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail and having engaging parts engaging with the notches and a shoulder anchor fitting part. The notches have cut-in edge parts positioned on the underside in the vertical direction and substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail and cut-in edge parts positioned on the upside in the vertical direction and obliquely to the longitudinal direction as to expand apertures of the notches. The slide member has an anchor fitting part to provide advancement and retreatment in the engaging direction and includes an elastic member for biasing the anchor fitting part in the engaging direction. The engaging parts are integral with the anchor fitting part and biased by the elastic member in the engaging direction.

摘要： A seatbelt retractor including a spool including a first spool component for retracting the seatbelt and a second spool component to which a driving force of a pretensioner is transmitted. When the relative rotational torque reaches a predetermined value or more, a member linking the spool components is subject to bending deformation and tensile deformation so that the first spool component rotates relatively with respect to the second spool component in a belt-withdrawing direction. As a result, the spool rotates in a belt-retracting direction so that a torsion bar becomes twisted, whereby impact energy is absorbed.

摘要： A seat belt retractor of the invention is basically formed of a first reel, a second reel, a rope extending between the first reel and the second reel, and a spiral spring situated in the second reel as an urging force providing device. The first reel is connected coaxially to a rotational axis of a reel shaft for winding a webbing, and has a drum shape on which the rope fixed at one end to the first reel is wound. The second reel has a rotational shaft disposed parallel to and laterally spaced away from the first reel. The second reel includes a small diameter reel portion, a large diameter reel portion, and a transition portion connecting the small diameter reel portion and the large diameter reel portion. The rope attached to the first reel extends to the small diameter reel portion and the transition portion, and is wound around a groove of the large diameter reel portion. The seat belt retractor is improved in assembling the members, and an approximately constant force for withdrawing the webbing can be achieved even if a withdrawal amount of the webbing is increased.

摘要： In an emergency situation, a pretensioner is activated so that a spool and a locking base are quickly rotated together in a belt-retracting direction. Subsequently, a stopper is guided along a guide groove so as to move (rotate) counterclockwise relatively with respect to the locking base, thereby reaching an active position. Accordingly, the stopper is released from a latching claw, and a quick-lock pawl is rotated clockwise with a biasing force of a spring, whereby the latching claw becomes engaged with internal teeth. Thus, the locking base becomes locked so that the locking base is prevented from rotating in the belt-withdrawing direction, and the EA operation by the torsion bar is quickly performed.

摘要： A pretensioner for removing slack from a seat belt having a slack removing mechanism drive actuated in response to a detection signal indicative of a prescribed degree of deceleration of a vehicle, and pawl gears which, owing to a driving force produced by the drive, and meshed with a gear that co-rotates with a seat belt take-up reel, rotates the take-up reel in a direction that removes slack from the seat belt. When deceleration of a predetermined magnitude is sustained, as at the time of a collision, slack in the seat belt is removed reliably and the amount of tightening of the seat belt is substantially constant. As a result, the seat belt functions at maximum effectiveness to effectively restrain the passenger wearing the seat belt.
