    摘要: A liquid discharge recording head includes an orifice plate having a discharge port formed therefor to discharge liquid, and a main body portion having liquid flow paths formed therein to communicate with an opening arranged at an edge portion thereof, the discharge port and the opening being bonded to communicate with each other. A sealing groove is arranged on the circumference of the opening along the bonded face, and a filler is filled in the sealing groove. This makes it possible to pour filler into the sealing groove from the injecting groove after the orifice plate is bonded to the face having the opening formed therefor to communicate the opening with the discharge port of the orifice plate to eliminate any gaps from which the filler leaks between the orifice plate and the face having an opening formed therefor, and carry out sealing without clogging the circumference of opening or discharge port.

    摘要: In the liquid discharge recording head provided with a stopper member formed of an elastic member to be penetrated by a hollow needle member for liquid supply into a liquid preserving chamber in the recording head, the invention enables smooth insertion of the front end of the needle member into the stopper member without insertion failure. The liquid discharge recording head is provided with a head chip having a nozzle for discharging liquid, and a frame member connected thereto and having a liquid chamber for containing the liquid to be supplied thereto. A hole portion is formed in a portion of the frame member, and joint rubber is pressed into such hole portion. In the joint rubber, there is formed in advance a fissure hole, to be penetrated by a hollow needle provided in the main body of the liquid discharge recording apparatus and having fissures in not less than three directions from the crossing center of the fissures, in a plane perpendicular to the direction of depth of the hole portion.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid ejection head for which the peeling of an orifice plate from a substrate seldom occurs, even in a structure such that the walls that define each energy application chamber are narrowed toward a ejection port. The walls that define a first pressure chamber are inclined inward within the first pressure chamber, so that the first pressure chamber is narrowed, toward an ejection port, along a direction perpendicular to the heater formation face on which heaters are arranged. Further, the walls that define each ink flow path are inclined in the ink ejection direction. Furthermore, the angle at which the walls that define the ink flow path are inclined relative to the ink ejection direction is smaller than the angle at which the walls that define the first pressure chamber are inclined inward, within the first pressure chamber.
