摘要： A method and system that creates a rule-based Operation Job Supervisor System (OJS) or decision engine to automate and control Fab production for the optimum movement of wafer boxes through the Fab. It is integrated with current manufacturing control systems and a cooperative model between the dispatching and scheduling functions. This easy-to-maintain system architecture makes use of a dynamic evaluation formula and sub-formula that can handle exception cases and consider wafer box physical position concurrently. Because the decision engine is rule based, rule can be revised without need for re-compiling and shutting down the system. New patterns are learned by the system automatically when variables and parameters in the formulas are revised.

摘要： The present invention provides an automated material handling system (AMHS) having: a FOUP management system, for managing a plurality of multiple lot FOUPs; a real time dispatch system for controlling dispatching of wafer lot orders within a wafer fabrication system; an automatic material handling integration system having a stocker for storing and sequencing a plurality of FOUPs, the stocker having an embedded sorter disposed there within for sorting wafers within a plurality of multiple lot FOUPs, and a FOUP transportation system for transporting FOUPs within a wafer fabrication facility; a manufacture execution system in operative communication with the real time dispatch system for controlling recipe processing and for controlling flow of FOUPs within the FAB; and a computer integrated manufacturing system for automating equipment within the AMHS. Additionally provided is a methodology for using the embedded sorter to sort FOUPs and a plurality of wafers within the AMHS.

An RFID scanner is configured to scan items tagged with RFID tags in the chambers via one or more antennas. The drawers can have a access cover, or lid that can be controlled so as to control access to the drawer. The scanner can be configured to perform inventory control for the tagged items.

摘要： In the embodiments described herein, a RFID enabled license plate is constructed by using the license plate, or a retro-reflective layer formed thereon as part of the resonator configured to transmit signals generated by and RFID chip integrated with the license plate. Such an RFID enabled license plate can include a metal license plate with a slot formed in the metal license plate, and a RFID tag module positioned in the slot. The RFID tag module can include a chip and a loop, and the loop can be coupled with the metal license plate, e.g., via inductive or conductive coupling. In this manner, the metal license plate can be configured to act as a resonator providing increased performance.
