    摘要： A method for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a blocked photographic agent capable of releasing a photographically useful agent, which method comprises processing the photographic light-sensitive material in the presence of an oxime.According to this method for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material, both stability of the photographic light-sensitive material during storage and release of a photographically useful agent during processing are achieved without undersirable side-reactions, and a high sensitivity/fog ratio is obtained.

    摘要： A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the photographic material contains a compound having a dye portion in which the maximum absorption wavelength is shifted by a bond that is cleaved upon reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent and is capable of forming a diffusion resistant compound having a dye portion possessing the maximum absorption wavelength which is not shifted as a result of the reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent.By the use of the compound which permits a large degree of freedom with respect to selection of the dye for forming a color image according to the present invention, the color photographic material has an excellent image quality, and a good fastness of image or a high sensitivity.

    摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described, comprising a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a blocked photographic agent represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein A represents a photographically useful agent moiety, which may have a timing group; X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represents a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, or a sulfinyl group; Z represents an atomic group forming a 5-membered, 6-membered, or 7-membered ring; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an acyl group, a sulfonyl group, or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heterocyclic group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group; m represents 0, 1, or 2; n represents 0 or 1; and the total of m+n is 1, 2, or 3. The precursor of photographic agent is completely stable during the preservation of the photographic light-sensitive material and releases a photographically useful agent at a desired time during processing of the photographic light-sensitive material. The precursor can exhibit its function to a substantial degree under mild conditions, such as in a pH range of from 9 to 12.

This compound is represented by the formula: Coup-(TIME).sub.n -FA (wherein Coup represents a coupler radical capable of undergoing a coupling reaction with an oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; TIME represents a timing group which is eliminated from Coup by the coupling reaction and, thereafter, releases FA; n is 0 or 1; and FA represents a group which is eliminated from Coup in the coupling reaction when n is 0, whereas FA is released from TIME when n is 1. The FA has adsorption properties with respect to silver halide grains and also has a substantial fogging action with respect to the silver halide grains).
