摘要: An air-conditioner for an automobile is disclosed which is provided with a compressor adapted to be directly connected to the engine, the compressor being provided with two coaxial compressing cylinders each having a different displacement, whereby the cylinder having the smaller displacement is adapted to be always operated to carry out the dehumidification, while the cylinder having the larger displacement is adapted to be operated only when it is desired to air-condition the compartment by a change in its operation rate through the actuation of such as a slide valve.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus for car comprising: an air intake fan having internal and external air inlet ports and internal and external air change-over dampers; a heat exchanger for cooling and a heat exchanger for warming, both being arranged in series at the downstream of said air intake fan and in the direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the air flow; a by-pass route provided above and in parallel with the heat exchanger for warming; and air mixing changer formed at the downstream of said heat exchanger for warming and said by-pass route; and an air blow-off port and a control damper for controlling direction of the air flow provided at the downstream of the air mixing chamber. The air intake fan, said heat exchanger for cooling, said heat exchanger for warming, said by-pass route, said air mixing chamber, said each air blow-off port, said each control damper and a water draining device are all installed in the same casing in the order as mentioned. The casing is made separable between said air intake fan and said heat exchanger for cooling, and said air intake fan is installed above a front deck portion enclosed by a cowl top outer panel and a cowl top inner panel or to the side of the engine room, and the remaining portion is installed in the vehicle cabin to be connected with said air intake fan.

摘要: An automobile ventilator which is a conventional ventilating device and a conventional air cleaning device combined into one. The ventilator structure has an air blowing passage opening into a passenger room of the vehicle. Through the air blowing passage comes out air blown by an impeller provided at the passage. There are further two passages to guide air to the impeller; one is a ventilation passage communicating outside the vehicle body while the other is a circulation passage opening into the passenger room. A damper is provided between the two passages in hinge fashion to selectively close either one of the two passages. This damper is controlled by manipulating the ignition switch such that the ventilation passage is closed on engine start whereas the circulation passage is closed when the engine is stopped. The impeller is driven alternately by first and second drive circuits. The first drive circuit is placed in an operative condition when the ignition switch is thrown to ON position whereas the second drive circuit is placed in an operative condition when the ignition switch is thrown to OFF position.

摘要: A temperature control device for a vehicle cabin comprises a duct which communicatively connects, at least, inside the vehicle cabin and the external atmosphere; a damper provided within the duct and for shutting off flow of air inside and outside the vehicle cabin; drive means for driving the damper to open and close; a fan to produce the air flow within the duct; a fan motor to actuate and drive the fan; detecting means to detect temperature changes within the vehicle cabin; and a power source separately provided from an ordinary power source and for supplying power to the fan motor. A temperature increase within the vehicle cabin above a predetermined temperature is detected by the detecting means, then electric power is supplied to the fan motor from the separately provided power source, and the temperature within the vehicle cabin is controlled in utilization of the duct, in which the damper is in an open state.

摘要: An airbag apparatus uses an interior panel of an automobile. The interior panel is formed of a multi-layer sheet including a surface layer, an intermediate foam layer, and a base layer. The interior panel has front and rear hinge grooves and left and right fracture grooves for defining a fracture-opening section, and a center fracture groove for dividing the fracture-opening section into front and rear fracture-opening subsections to be split apart from each other in a casement condition. The hinge grooves, the center fracture groove, and the left and right fracture grooves are formed of laser-machined holes which have different depths and do not pass through the surface layer of the interior panel.

摘要: An airbag apparatus utilizes an interior panel of a vehicle. The interior panel has a rectangular fracture-opening section defined by at least one hinge groove and one fracture groove formed on an inside surface of the interior panel through irradiation with laser pulses. The fracture groove includes bridge portions and continuous hole portions provided alternately. Each of the bridge portions includes no laser-formed hole and has a thickness equal to the interior panel. Each of the continuous hole portions is composed of first holes for fracture which have a first depth and are successively formed between adjacent bridge portions through irradiation with laser pulses, and second holes which have a second depth smaller than the first depth and are each formed between adjacent first holes, through irradiation with laser pulses, so as to remove an original-thickness portion between the adjacent first holes.

摘要: An airbag device for a passenger seat for use in a vehicle like an automobile. Reinforcement ribs 12 of rectangular horizontal cross-section protrudently extend downward from the back side of a fracture-opening section 30 of the interior cover. Mounting holes 14 are formed at the predetermined intervals in the front and rear side walls 12a of the reinforcement ribs (in the longer direction). Hooks 36 mounted to the front and rear side edge surfaces 5b of the airbag case 5 (in the longer direction) are joined to the mounting holes via a mounted section 35 extending downward from hinge sections 34 of reinforcement plate members 33. The left and right side walls 12b of the reinforcement ribs 12 are spaced from the left and right side edges 5c of the airbag case by a predetermined distance, and fracture grooves 30a of the fracture-opening section are formed at the portions positions spaced at the predetermined intervals.

摘要: An airbag apparatus for a front passenger seat includes a fracture-opening section which is defined in an interior cover and is split into front and rear subsections upon inflation of an airbag, and front and rear reinforcement plate members fixedly attached to back surfaces of the front and rear subsections. Upper bent portions and lower bent portions are alternately formed at predetermined intervals at each of the mutually-opposed end portions of the front and rear reinforcement plate members such that a vertical step is formed between the upper bent portions and the lower bent portions. A projection tongue having an engagement hole is provided at the tip end of each upper bent portion. A projection engageable with the engagement hole is formed on the upper face of each lower bent portion. The mutually-opposed end portions of the front and rear reinforcement plate members are superposed and engaged with each other in such a manner that the projection tongues are located above the lower bent portions.

When or after the above first and second convex columns (13) and the second convex columns (14A and 14B) and the joining surface 11a of the first processed article 11 are vibration-welded together by use of a vibration welding machine, a cooling fluid from a cooling fluid source 26 is supplied to a region surrounded by the first convex column 13 via a supply port 15 and discharged therefrom via a discharge port 16 so as to effect cooling in the region.
