Transgenic maize plants containing maize event MON87429 exhibit tolerance to inhibitors of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase) in the aryloxyphenoxy propionate (FOP) group, synthetic auxins, inhibitors of glutamine synthetase, and inhibitors of 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS).
