    摘要： An image forming device is provided with a memory area assignment system for assigning a font load area for storing font data and a bit map area for storing image data in the memory area with a predetermined capacity, and when a part of the memory area defined to be assigned for the bit map area is overlapped on a part of the font load area, it is judged whether or not the font data stored in the overlapped area is a secondary data which can be recovered by converting a primary data, and in case the font data is a secondary data, the overlapped area is assigned for the bit map area.

    摘要： A printer includes a first memory for storing character pattern data provided by compressing a plurality of character patterns by a prescribed method, a second memory for storing data expanded from the compressed character pattern data, and a printing apparatus for printing the prepared characters. When character patterns designated by externally applied character code information are prepared in the second memory, the data in the second memory are directly printed. Only when the designated character pattern are not prepared in the second memory, the data in the first memory are expanded, stored in the second memory, and the printing is carried out.

    摘要： A printer comprising: printing means for forming an image on a paper; setting means for setting independently a plural kind of analytical conditions for printing information; a plurality of store means each for storing a set of setting values which correspond to the analytical conditions of said plural kind of printing information set by said setting means; first selective means for selecting one among said plurality of said store means; a plurality of analytical means each for analyzing inputted printing information in accordance with analytical conditions for printing information stored in the store means selected by said first selective means based on respective inherent protocol; second selective means for selecting analytical means to be used among a plurality of analytical means; and control means for controlling said printing means in accordance with the printing information analyzed by the selected analytical means; wherein said first selective means selects a predetermined store means among said plurality of store means in response to the selection of analytical means by said second selective means. A user can set analytical conditions for printing information for each application conveniently without errors.
