Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes an inner layer portion including a first-main-surface-side region, a second-main-surface-side region, and a central region between the first-main-surface-side region and the second-main-surface-side region. In the central region, dielectric layers each between internal electrodes adjacent to each other in a lamination direction and exposed at a same surfaces are in contact with the external electrode at contact portions, and an average of thicknesses of the dielectric layers at the contact portions is referred to as an average thickness Lc. In at least one of the first-main-surface-side region or the second-main-surface-side region, dielectric layers each between internal electrodes adjacent to each other in the lamination direction and exposed at the same surface are in contact with the external electrodes at contact portions, and a thickness of the dielectric layer at each contact portion is referred to as a thickness Ls and Ls

Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes end-surface-exposure internal electrodes, lateral-surfaces-exposure internal electrodes, first dielectric layers each having the end-surface-exposure internal electrode thereon, and second dielectric layers each having the lateral-surface-exposure internal electrode thereon. At least one of each first and second dielectric layer includes an auxiliary internal electrode on a portion adjacent to one surface at which the internal electrode is not exposed. The auxiliary internal electrode is spaced apart from the internal electrode, is exposed at the one surface, and is opposed to a lead-out portion of the internal electrode different from and adjacent to the internal electrode. A through hole penetrates through the auxiliary internal electrode and includes a same dielectric as that of the dielectric layers to connect the dielectric layers in contact with the auxiliary internal electrode.

Abstract: When a multilayer ceramic capacitor is viewed as a section of a central portion in a width direction cut parallel or substantially parallel or substantially parallel or substantially parallel to a side surface, in an internal electrode layer in a central portion in a lamination direction and including an extremity spaced apart from an end surface, any one of five segments of the internal electrode layer that are horizontally and successively positioned from the extremity has a length greater than about 0.2 times of an average length of ten segments of the internal electrode layer that are horizontally and successively positioned in a central portion in a length direction.

Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body including internal electrode layers and dielectric layers alternately laminated, and external electrodes on at least a pair of opposite outer surfaces of the multilayer body and extending in a lamination direction. Each internal electrode layer includes a counter portion and a lead-out portion extending from the counter portion to the external electrode, and the counter portion of one of a pair of the internal electrode layers adjacent to each other in the lamination direction overlaps with the counter portion of each of a remainder of the internal electrode layers. The counter portion includes on edges thereof a convex-concave portion including a convexity and a concavity alternating with each other, the convexity bending toward the outer surface adjacent to the edge, the concavity bending away from the outer surface adjacent to the edge.
